As you walked through the glossy marble halls of the palace, your brown lace up boots clicked with every step. Your long aegean dress flowed behind you as you made your way to the palace library.
With the changing seasons the weather got colder, so your lessons with Yuki had to take place inside. You made sure to keep the lessons in the farest corner of the athenaeum in hopes to keep Yuki and yourself out of trouble.
As you entered the large room, you quickly walked over to a small desk that held a very fixated Yuki. As you sat down next to her, her soft blue eyes looked up at you.
"Princess! I made a new story, do you wanna read it?" Yuki asked, holding up her small leather bound notebook.
"Yes, of course I do" You say, grinning at Yuki. You take the book out of her hand and open to the newest entry.
One apon a time, there was a lady named Yuki. She was very nice. Everbody love her. One daye she met a prince name Niko. They fell in love and met a dragon. They named him finny.
The ende.
You laughed at the amount of mistakes, but helped her correct each one. Slowly she remade the story, taking her time to not make any mistakes.
"I finished" She grinned. You took the book and read again. It was perfect, Although the story was rather bland, there were no grammar or spelling mistakes.
"Good job!" you say grinning widely. You were so proud of her. Her lips upturned and gave you a large smile.
"Thank you princess." She said as she took the book from you. It was only then when you noticed the time.
"Yuki, you have to go to your piano lesson now, or your mother will have my head." You say quickly.
"Yuki laughed and wandered out of the room before closing the door behind her.
You too walked out of the room, before making your way to your chambers. When you arrived you sat yourself down on one of the squishy arm chairs in your room. Before you could reach for your a book and get comfortable a knock came from the door connecting to Katsuki's chambers"
You slowly stood up and walked over to the set of doors, before opening them meekly.
"H-Hello" You stutter as you see a disgruntled Katsuki standing before you.
"Hi, can I come in?" He asked as he rolled his eyes.
"Yes, of course." You say softly as you open the door all the way, for Katsuki to walk through.
"The Old Hag wants me to show you around my parents suite, cause like apparently when we marry it will be ours or whatever. He said, his annoyance shown with every word.
You blush before saying, "u-um sure."
"Lets go" He growled as he walked out of your bedroom. You quickly followed him, as to not piss him off any further.
After walking down a couple hallways Katsuki stopped outside a large set of white doors. He gently placed a hand on the door handle and opened one of the large doors. Inside was one of the biggest bedrooms you had ever seen.
You could feel your eyes light up in the gorgeous room. Everything was matched in soft hues of silver and amber. There was one large king sized bed off to the side of the room and a small sitting area on the other. The large couches and armchairs were facing a large stone fireplace that rose to the ceiling.
You could feel Katsuki's eyes on you as you gazed at the lavish room. Your eyes wandered to a large set of french doors. You looked at Katsuki as if to ask permission. Katsuki simply nodded at you curiosity. You opened the large doors and revealed a long white balcony that looked over the massive gardens.
You let out a small gasp at the pulchritudinous view. A soft smile graced your lips as you stared off at the view for a while, your eyes gazing out at the cool winter scene. That was until you heard a soft chuckle. You turned to see King Masaru and Queen Mitsuki sitting at a small table having tea on the balcony.
"I-I didn't mean to intrude. I-I'm so sorry. I will just take my leave." You stutter as you turn to leave the room. Katsuki stood behind you, his gaze appeared to be more soft and gentle than it was before.
"It's quite alright dear. Please join us." Mitsuki said as she waved her hands over two empty seats.
"That's very kind of you Mitsuki" You say bowing, before you sit in one of the chairs gracefully. Katsuki followed you but instead of just sitting, he angrily picked up the chair and turned it around before straddling it.
You softly giggled at his expression as he grabbed a scone with the utmost annoyance. He slowly turned to you before a light tint of pink dusted his cheeks.
"Well aren't you two a sweet sight." Mitsuki said, giggling like a teenage girl. You blush slightly as you turn away from her gaze. "So tell me, have you kissed?" She asked excitedly.
Katsuki's jaw dropped as his half eaten scone fell out of his hand. You could feel your face heat up until you knew you looked like a tomato.
"n-no ma'am" You say, hiding your face with your hands.
"Oh well that's a shame." she said, frowning slightly.
"It's ok dear, I can tell it will happen any day now" Masaru said chuckling.
"It's fine we can wait, you guys are getting married in the spring so you have a couple months to prepare." Mitsuki said, sipping her tea.
"Prepare for what, Mitsuki?" you say innocently.
"Well there's the wedding, and the honey moon, oh and we need grandchildren." Mitsuki said as she listed off everything that you needed to do.
"You're not getting grandchildren anytime soon, ya old hag" Katsuki said, rolling his eyes. He then glanced at you before blushing slightly and turning away.
"Oh I doubt that." Mitsuki said laughing. "Please keep in mind that you should be married first" She added sternly.
"Mitsuki, for now we are just friends, We wouldn't want to rush into anything just yet." You say softly.
"Just friends my ass-" Before she could finish her words, Masaru elbowed her arm and shook his head kindly at his wife.
"What their not!" she said to Masari before turning to face you. "Don't think we didn't see you down by the lake last night, we heard the whole thing too" She said quietly.
You felt your face heat up slightly before you asked sheepishly, "Do you by any chance know french?" You looked down at your hands and fiddled with your nails, waiting for an answer.
"Of course, we all do," Mitsuki said smugly.
