Your dress was magnificent as ivory lace draped over your shoulders with more delicacy than you believed was possible. Silk and satin washed over you as your corset cinched them to your waist.

Tiny pearls and roses adorned the bottom of your dress as Mina gently sewed a ribbon to your flowy sleeves. The A-line dress fit your body perfectly as your dress flowed with every move you made.

You were the picture of elegance and grace as you stood in front of the mirror in your room. A smile as big as the sun plastered across your face. Your mind was racing and your heart was beating ever so quickly.

If you were being honest you would have just announced to the entire kingdom that you were a nervous wreck. However, your conversation with Katsuki puts you at ease.

The ring on your finger shined as the gold metal held a tiny ruby. The ring was completely last minute, for the marriage was arranged and Katsuki had completely forgotten about how marriage works.

However, you loved the ring regardless. It complimented your soft e/c eyes and made the warmth in your cheeks stand out.

"Alrighty, I think that's it! Are you ready to put the veil on?" Mina asked, jumping up from her place on the ground, a huge grin on her face.

You nod, taking in your appearance. You can't even make out the words to describe how beautiful you feel. The only word that could even compare was 'angelic'.

Mina then pulled out a large white box and opened it. Inside was the most beautiful veil you've ever seen. It was gorgeous. The light tool sparkled in the light as small rosettes decorated the bottom.

Mina placed the veil on your head, before adorning it with a delicate tiara. It was silver and wasn't too heavy.

As you peered into the mirror, you no longer saw a frail little princess staring back at you. You saw a queen.

A single tear fell from your eye as you stared at the person you've become.

Strong, not only with a sword, but with compassion.

Intelligent, you know more about this land and its people than any local.

Kind, the kingdom's people loved you, more than you even realized.

Though you still had your faults, you were much stronger than you were before you had met Katsuki, and for that you would be eternally grateful.

"Y/n?" Mina asked softly, tring to get your attention. "It's time to go." You tore your eyes away from the mirror to see Kaname and your father standing next to Mina next to the door.

"Oh, yes of course." You say, a bit startled. You then walked over to your brother whose arm was extended for you to take.

You took it gratefully but as you were about to take a step for the door, you stopped suddenly. You then let go of Kaname and turned to face him.

"Kaname, I need to say something before I leave. I'm going to walk down the aisle alone." Kaname looked taken-aback at your sudden statement but you continued. "I am going to be queen and I'm supposed to be independent and stand up for what is right. So I don't want to walk down the aisle with someone who ignored my screams while I was hurt. I will not give you the satisfaction. I love you, but I don't want that. I want to show them that I am independent and have been. I have not ever been given your help, so I don't want you to get the credit of being the person I could lean on."

You then turn and walk out of the room, relief washing over you. It's not that you disliked your brother, you just wanted to finally be free from your family.

Your heels clicked against the marble flooring as Mina rushed up next to you. She didn't say anything, she just grinned widely and pulled out a beautiful bouquet.

You took it gratefully before she left to enter the great hall. You waited for a moment outside the large room before you were told to enter.

As the doors swung open, fear riddled your body. All eyes were on you as you walked in time to the music, your eyes staring at the stained glass ceiling above you.

You were halfway down the aisle when Katsuki caught your eye. It was at that very moment, your heart stopped. Your breath was taken away by how magnificent he looked. The fiery expression he normally wore was gone. He was just watching you in shock as tears fell from his eyes.

Kirishima and Denki stood next to him, both of them in fits of tears. You laughed lightly to yourself before you realised that you were crying too. As you reached the altar, a priest with mid length black hair pulled you closer together.

As he rambled on about love or some other bullshit that you didn't care for, you stared into Katsukis volcanic eyes filled with tears. Both of you smiled up at each other with soft looks of your faces. The moment was precious and everyone knew it.

Before you even realised it, it was time for the vows. Katsuki went first as he drew in a shaky breath.

"Y/n, when I met you, I hated your guts. You were smart and too kind for your own good. I was so jealous that anyone was able to be as perfect as you. Your smile entranced me every time you spoke. Your eyes sparkled whenever we were together. Your love of knowledge never got in the way of your stupidity as you never think things through. I love you. I never knew anyone like me could ever love anyone as much as I do. When you told me I was a good person, for the first time I actually believed I could change. I know I've fucked up, and I hate that I do, but I want to be the one you can rely on when the world goes to shit. I love you, Y/n. More than anything else in this world."

You were sobbing. As he looked back up from the tattered flashcards in his hands, you noticed his tears as well. It took everything in you, to not hug him in that moment. You held up your small journal that held your vows, before starting.

"Katsuki, You are the biggest idiot i've ever met. However, you are the best thing that has ever happened to me. With an abusive household and no parents to rely on, I was so lost in this world. That was until a spiky ball of fire came into my life and took me away. At first, the thought of marrying you was the scariest thing I could ever do, but as time went on, I learned that you are kind and caring and that you value compassion over strength. Although I am slow and sometimes need a little assistance, I want you to be at my side every step of the way. I love you, Katsuki Bakugou."

"You may now kiss the bride" The voice of the priest said softly.

Before you could even react, Bakugou pulled you in by the waist and kissed you hard. The whole world knew that he had been waiting to do it from the moment he laid eyes on you, but now he finally had the chance.

You kissed him back as butterflies erupted from your stomach . Church bells rang in your heart as you held each other tightly refusing to let yourselves go. The spring day outside framed the perfect picture of your love as you stared into each other's eyes.
