"I know of this one place by the pier where we can rent jet skis or boards to paddle board and surf" Devin said as they thought about what to do the following day.
"Why don't we go hiking" Ezekiel said. "I've never been hiking" Liam responded.
"Me either, sounds cool" Devin answered.
"How many miles of walking are we talking about?" Mallory asked.
"I heard trails always have a road so you can drive up there if you want, lazy" Liam said to Mallory.
"I'm asking because I want to know how long I'll have to be hearing your stupid jokes for" Mallory frowned at Liam.
Mallory was the only girl left with them because the other girls they met at the wedding had gone back.
"You don't have to come" Liam smiled. "I'm sure they'd prefer to have me with them than have you" Mallory responded.
Liam put his hand on his chest with his middle finger up pretending to be hurt. Mallory stuck her middle finger out at him.
"I know of this trail that has like a small waterfall with a clear lake where we can get in once we reach the top of it" Ezekiel said speaking of the same place where he had taken Mallory.
"I'm in, at what time?" Liam asked.
"Seven?" Devin asked. "Isn't that to early?" Liam asked.
"Is it to early for you? I dont care, it's settled, seven a.m." Mallory smiled.
"Who invited her again?" Liam pointed to Mallory.
Mallory felt her phone vibrate in her bag and took it out to see her notifications.
She had lots of notifications from Bellami asking her where she was and why she wasn't answering. She was about to ignore the rest of the messages until she read that she had gone to her apartment and she wasn't there either then the next one that said they were looking for her and that she had forgot she had her location on.
The last one was Bellami asking her what she was doing at the beach so late.
Mallory quickly got up and put her phone into her bag.
They all frowned as she looked desperate to get out of there. She was looking for her shoes that she forgot she left in Ezekiels car and her keys that Devin still had.
Ezekiel got up and asked if everything was okay.
"I have to go" Mallory continued looking around.
"If you're looking for your heels you left them in my car" Ezekiel said. "Right" Mallory said and walked over to his car to grab her heels.
Zeke followed her, "what's going on?" He asked.
"Bellami is looking for me, I forgot I always keep my location on for her and she just remembered so she knows where I'm at. They can't know I'm with you. I'll see you tomorrow okay" Mallory smiled.
Ezekiel nodded.
Mallory walked past him and began walking away.
"Is she leaving?" Liam asked Ezekiel who walked back to where they were.
"Yeah, her sister is looking for her and she doesn't want them to know about us" Ezekiel shrugged."I still have her keys" Devin said taking them out of his pocket. "Let her get to the parking lot and realize she doesn't have her keys so she'll come back mad" Liam smirked.
"I'll take them to her" Ezekiel grabbed the keys from Devin but Liam yelled Mallorys name then whistled making her turn. Ezekiel raised his hand with her keys and it was a good thing she had good eye vision and walked back towards them.
