"I don't want to eat" Mallory said as she was being pulled by Bellami who was taking her to their table. Bellami thought Mallory was trying to avoid Dimitri but who she was trying to avoid was Scott.
Bellami and Mallory reached the table and they both sat. Mallory sat besides Cynthia and Jason and had Dimitri and Scott right in front of her. "Where were you?" Cynthia asked Mallory.
"I forgot some stuff in the student lounge" Mallory said.
Once the bell rang Mallory quickly stood up and began walking away before Dimitri catched up to her. "Hey" he said. "Hi" she smiled. "Listen Mal we're good right?" He stopped walking and so did she. "Yeah" she nodded.
"You know I love you Mal and I just thought making you a little something in my place would be nice but I think you're avoiding me because you don't agree with it"
"I'm not avoiding you, but I don't want you to do anything for me. I just want to stay home with my parents this year that's it. Sorry" she said and walked towards her class that Dimitri was in too. She didn't want to do anything and she knew her parents bailed on her but that's something Dimitri didn't have to know.

Thursday morning the day of her birthday Mallory sat in the breakfast room looking down at her pancakes before Bellami could step in and make her react.
"Happy birthday" Bellami hugged Mallory who smiled and thanked her. "So should we go shopping after school?" Bellami asked. "What for?" Mallory asked.
"What are you going to wear to your party at Dimitri's place?" Bellami grabbed a plate and served herself fruit. "I asked Dimitri not to do it" Mallory set her fork down. "Why not?" Bellami looked at her.
"I just want to stay here" Mallory shrugged. "Dimitri was doing something nice for you"
"I know but I didn't ask for it"

When Bellami and Mallory stepped into the school Mallory left Bellami and walked towards her locker. She was going to grab her notebook for her art class when she opened it and saw a bouquet of red roses place neatly in there with a card. She only grabbed the card and read it.
'May all your wishes come true. Here's to seventeen. Love, Dimi.'
She put the card back inside her locker and grabbed her notebook that was under the roses. She forgot she had given Dimitri her locker combination.
"Do you like them?"
Mallory turned to look at Dimitri. "Yeah they're nice, thank you" Mallory smiled before closing her locker. "Aren't you going to take them out of there?" Dimitri asked.
"I don't want to carry them around all day" Mallory shrugged. "Can I at least give you a hug?"
Mallory nodded. Dimitri hugged her and turned to try and kiss her but she stepped back when she saw him getting closer.
"There she is" Scott smiled as he walked towards them. "Happy Birthday" Scott hugged her then moved aside so Cynthia and Jason could hug her as well.
"Thanks" Mallory said to them. "I got you a cupcake" Cynthia said as she handed Mallory a chocolate cupcake. Mallory thanked her and looked at them. "I have to get to class"

Mallory knocked on Bellami's door. Bellami was laying down in her bed and turned to look at Mallory. "Do you want to have dinner with me? We can go out" Mallory said to Bellami.
"I'm going out with Cynthia, Jason, and Scott. You said you didn't want to do anything so I made plans with them" Bellami sat up. "Okay" Mallory said.
