Mallory felt her phone vibrate and unlocked it to look at her notifications. She made sure her mother wasn't looking before reading it.
'Suite 11'
She locked her phone and looked up and around the room trying to find Ezekiel.
Liam could tell she was looking for him and raised his glass so her parents wouldn't notice. Mallory saw Liam and then Ezekiel who was standing beside him. She liked that he wore a suit just like every other guy was wearing and smiled.
Scott noticed Mallory began blushing and looked over his shoulder with a smirk to see who she was looking at and wasn't surprised. Dimitri looked the same direction then back at Mallory.
Just as he looked at her a slow song began playing and he saw it as his opportunity. However he didn't ask her to dance, instead he asked her father for his permission because he knew Mallory would obey her father. "Mr Kline do you mind if I dance with your daughter Mallory?" Dimitri smiled. Mallory looked at Dimitri then turned slightly to look at Ezekiel who didn't know what was going on.
"Go ahead" Roman nodded as he looked at Mallory.
"I don't want to dance" Mallory quickly answered.
"Mallory don't be rude, it's just a dance" Roman smiled. "I know but I don't want to dance, we would be the only ones one the dance floor and that's embarrassing" Mallory said.
"If we're the first to dance maybe people will get up to dance as well" Dimitri smiled.
Ezekiel and Liam looked over at them. Devin was to busy answering a text.
When Devin looked up his eyes widened as he saw more guest arrived, "Avah is here" Devin smiled.
Liam looked in the same direction, "you guys are still dating?" Liam asked.
"Yeah, I'll be back in a minute" Devin said to them and walked away.
"Where is he going?" Ezekiel asked Liam. "The girl that just stepped in, the one with the nude dress is his girlfriend" Liam said.
"What do you think they're saying?" Ezekiel asked about Mallory and Dimitri.
"He spoke to her father and her father is looking at her so most likely he asked her to dance. Thank me later for what I'm about to do. Start heading up to the suite" Liam put his empty glass on the bar and pat Ezekiels shoulder.
Liam quickly caught up to Devin who was almost near Avah, "when you get to Avah tell her to wait at the entrance and both of you smile when I look back at you" Liam said and walked across Devin.
"Why?" Devin asked.
"Just do it" Liam said and he fixed his tie before stepping close to Mallory's table.
He cleared his throat before getting near them and he greeted everyone on the table getting a glare from Dimitri.
"Hey Mal, Devin well actually his girlfriend Avah asked if you could help her with her dress, she had a malfunction and asked if you'll accompany her to the restroom to help her" Liam said and looked back with everyone in the table turning the same way too.
Devin and Avah smiled as Liam had asked.
"You're friends with her?" Bellami asked because Avah was Bellamis ex boyfriend Ethan's cousin.
"Yeah, excuse me" Mallory said before pushing her chair back to follow Liam.
'Walk' Liam mouthed to Devin and they all began walking out of the room. They got to the lobby and and they greeted each other.
"Did you come with your family?" Liam asked Avah.
"My family is in there but I don't think they saw me. I said I wasn't going to come and changed my plans" Avah smiled.
"Great, lets party upstairs" Liam said and both him and Mallory walked to the elevator.
"they're dating?" Avah asked Devin in a whisper. Devin shook his head no and grabbed her hand as they stepped into the elevator.
When they got into the suite Mallory smiled when she saw Ezekiel.
"Avah this is Ezekiel, Zeke this is Avah my girlfriend" Devin introduced them.
"Nice to meet you" Avah shook Ezekiels hand. "Do you attend Lomas?" Avah asked Ezekiel.
"Yeah it's my first year there" Ezekiel answered and put his hand out for Mallory to grab. Mallory grabbed his hand as she stepped closer to him.
"So you two are dating?" Avah asked.
"Yes, but you can't tell anyone" Mallory said.
"I won't" Avah shook her head. "Can I ask why though?" She added
"It's a long story, to sum it up she's juliet and he's romeo and we must keep their secret. So who wants a drink?" Liam smiled as he turned to grab a bottle they had already asked for.
Liam then grabbed the remote to the home theaters speakers and connected his phone via Bluetooth to play music.
"Come with me" Ezekiel said to Mallory and guided her out to the balcony.
"You look fucking great, like really great" Ezekiel smiled.
"Thank you, I like the way suits look on you. Especially the one you wear to school" Mallory smiled as she fixed his tie. "Thank you for sending Liam to get me out of the situation" Mallory said.
"He does it on purpose right?" Ezekiel asked about Dimitri.
"Yeah, he thinks there's still a possibility that we'll be back together" Mallory said.
"Is there?" Ezekiel raised his brow.
"No" Mallory shook her head.
"I want to ask you something because we've been kissing already and because in my head we're already a couple. Do you want to be my girlfriend?" Ezekiel scratched the back of his neck as he got nervous.
"Yes" Mallory nodded and grabbed his hand to pull him back inside to the living room of the suite where everybody was hanging out.
"Won't they start going to look for you Mal? I mean if you don't go back they'll start wondering where you are" Avah asked.
"Which is why none of us will leave this suite until the dinner is over, they'll look for her every where thinking she left and never stop to think that she's still in the same building as them" Liam said as he reached for his phone to change the song.
"Okay well Devin and I will be in a bedroom because I came to spend time with my boyfriend" Avah said and pulled Devin with him.
Liam looked through his music and tapped on Shake it by Metro station getting glares from Mallory and Ezekiel but that didn't stop him from dancing by himself, "I'm joking, we're playing good music tonight or at least better music than the one being played down at the dinner" Liam said and changed the song to the remix of Midnight City. He put his phone down and grabbed the bottle of champagne to pour two more glasses forgetting that Mallory didn't drink alcohol like they did.
"Oh shit I forgot" Liam said.
"It's fine I'll drink it, just one to let loose" Mallory said and both Ezekiel and Liam smiled.
