Ezekiel set a blanket down for them to sit on. "I'll wait for the sun to set a little more so I can turn on the fire" he said as he sat besides her.

Mallory looked at the waves that crashed with each other and slowly disappeared. "Do you like the ocean?" He asked.

"I do, however I'm scared of it too" Mallory said. He grabbed a soda can and handed it to her. "Why?" He frowned.

"Do you have any idea of how many people have died in the ocean?" She answered. "They've died more on land, I promise you that the ocean is the last place to worry about" Ezekiel said.

"Will you apply to study abroad?" Mallory asked him. "College applications aren't filled until next year" he responded.

"No I mean for this year. Our school takes students abroad to study in other private schools, this year it's in Switzerland" she said.

"I didn't know, are you leaving?" he shook his head.

"No, my friend's Cynthia and Jason decided to try it out this year. I think they leave in like two days. You can't apply if you're a senior because you obviously have to stay here to fill college applications and graduation, they come back two weeks after graduation" Mallory said before taking a drink of her soda.

"Sounds cool. What university do you want to go to?" He asked.

"I don't want to say it because then you'll try to flirt with me by saying you want to go there too" Mallory smiled. "Alright what if you go stand there and I'll stand here and we type in our phone what school we want to go to?" He smiled.

"Sounds better" Mallory said and stood up. They both typed into their phones where they wanted to go. "Ready to show?" He asked. Mallory handed him her phone and he handed his to her.

Ezekiel smiled and looked up at her. They both had typed in University of Chicago. "Why?" She asked him.

"I don't want to leave my home" he shrugged. "Why do you want to study there?" He asked.

"It's not really an Ivy League, I want to prove to my family that it's not necessary to attend Oxford or Harvard to do great in life" Mallory said. "It's a private school" he smiled.

"It's not the same" Mallory responded. "It's good though, maybe after college we can get married" Ezekiel smirked making Mallory blush.

"Or should we get married while in college?" He asked. "We're not even going to be a couple" she said.

"No way, I was just about to ask you to be my girlfriend" Ezekiel sighed. "I'm joking not yet, unless you want me to" he smiled and leaned in to kiss her. Mallory liked the feeling he gave her every time he kissed her. Besides that he was a really good kisser too. He stopped kissing her and pulled back to see her still with her closed eyes. He smiled and got up "I'll start the bonfire" he said.

Mallory got up and walked towards the water letting it touch her feet. She took a picture of the water and put it on her instagram stories.

It wasn't long before Dimitri saw it. He thought about going to find her but decided not to because he knew who she would be with and there's nothing he could do. He was filled with jealousy and tossed his phone towards the wall.
Scott was in the bar and heard the noise. "What the fuck is wrong with you?" Scott asked Dimitri when he saw his phone on the floor. It was completely broken.

"She's dating" Dimitri said. "Mal?" Scott asked.

"Who else?" Dimitri frowned. "It was bound to happen" Scott shrugged. "She's dating the new boy" Dimitri laughed. "How do you know?"

"She came here with him to drop Bellami off. I got a quick glimpse of her just as I was going out but I didn't see him, Bellami told me" He said as he rolled up the sleeves of his black dressing shirt. "Maybe she lied" Scott said because he saw how angry Dimitri was. He couldn't help but imagine how he would ever react if he found out that he slept with Mallory.

"I've seen him get to school in his car, the same car Mallory was in. I saw the way he looked at her earlier today during lunch" Dimitri said.

"So they're going out, doesn't mean they'll become a couple. What you need to do is go out too, get over her" Scott sat besides Dimitri.

"I want her"

"So keep him close, befriend him" Scott said before getting up again.

Mallory watched as Ezekiel was having trouble starting the fire. "Have you done this before?" She asked.

"Once when I went camping with my parents" he said as he turned to see over his shoulder. "Maybe it's god telling us not to start a fire" Mallory said worried that he'd might get burn. "You know I'm fine with eating my smores cold" she smiled.

"Give me a few minutes I'll get it" He said trying to start the fire.

"Zeke its fine" Mallory said. "Did you just call me Zeke?" He smiled. "Should I not?"

"No you should call me Zeke, it just sounds so nice hearing it from you" He reaponded. "Okay well can we eat the s'mores cold, zeke" she smiled

"Yeah, if you keep calling me Zeke we can do anything you want" he said as he sat besides her. Mallory grabbed the bag of marshmallows and he opened up the cookies and hersheys chocolate.

"Can I ask you something?" He asked. She nodded. "What would you respond to me if I asked you to be my girlfriend in this moment?"

"That we don't really know each other that good" Mallory said. "But you like me and I like you so we're off to a really good start" he smiled. "What do you like about me?" He smirked.

"The way you have a provocative smile" she shrugged. "I thought you'd say my kisses" he said.

"Your terrible at kissing" she lied. "Really?" He widened his eyes before leaning in to kiss her. When he stopped she still had her eyes closed as if wanting more. "The way you stay after I kiss you says otherwise" he smirked.

"Well I guess you'll have to kiss me again" she smiled making him turn to her with the biggest smile yet.
