Mallory walked to the door when she heard her doorbell that woke her up. She opened the door and saw Ezekiel standing there. "I don't remember you being part of the cleaning staff" Mallory said.
"I forgot my phone" Ezekiel smiled. "Come in" Mallory moved aside so that he could step in to grab his phone. He walked over to the couch and grabbed it.
"Do you want to have breakfast with me?" He asked. "Don't you have family who you should have breakfast with instead?" Mallory raised her brow.
"Yeah but they can have breakfast without me at least once, by the way you look beautiful even when you just woke up" He smirked. "Come on you know you want to" He added.
"Give me a minute" Mallory said and walked to her bedroom to get changed.
Mallory let her hair down and put on a dior chiffon cutout mini dress and put on her saint laurent tribute t strap platform sandals. She grabbed a bag and walked back to the living room.
"You know we're just going to Ihop right?" Ezekiel smiled when he saw Mallory. He eyed her before looking at her face.
"Oh believe me I didn't put any effort into my outfit" Mallory said as she walked to the door.
They drove to the closest Ihop where Ezekiel asked Mallory to wait in the car. Half an hour later he came back with the food.
"Weren't we going to eat here?" Mallory asked when she saw the bag of food. "I have a better place" He smiled before beginning to drive.
They drove for an hour before getting into a road that led into the woods. The road looked beautiful with the floral trees that made a hall. "Have you ever been here?" Ezekiel asked her.
"No" she shook her head. Ezekiel continued driving until they reached a small cabin that had the view to the lake.
"Who lives here?" Mallory asked. "No one, they built it for people who come visit. My family used to come here a lot when I was little" Ezekiel said as he stepped out of the car with the food. Mallory couldn't help but admire the beauty of nature.
"We can eat inside" he said and opened the door to the cabin. It was the tiniest cabin she had ever seen. It probably could fit one bed and that was about it but instead it had a table with four chairs in it.
Ezekiel took the food out and they both began eating. He liked that she wasn't picky with food or liked healthy food only.
"Where did your parents take you when you were small?" He asked. "Wherever they had to work" Mallory nodded.
"You guys never had a lake day?" He frowned. "I told you we have a lake in our backyard. We'd go out there to watch my father shoot clay" Mallory nodded.
"Do you know how to use a gun?" He asked. "No. My father has a gun room but he never lets us in there. He himself hardly ever goes in there but he has prohibited us from using guns" Mallory said.
"If you had the chance to use one, would you?"
"No" Mallory shook her head. "So how is it that you have an apartment?" He changed the conversation.
"My mom bought us properties so we're basically investors in real estate"
"Who's us?" He asked. "My sister and I"
"Do you and her get along well?"
"Yeah were sisters, she's really good to me, she's there when I need her. Were best friends" Mallory smiled when she spoke of Bellami.
"What do you think of you and I?" Ezekiel smirked. "There's no you and I" Mallory said. "But we both want there to be a you and I, right?" Ezekiel leaned in closer to Mallory.
"No" Mallory shook her head. "You've got something right there" Ezekiel pointed to her cheek. Mallory touched her cheek. "No not there, right there" Ezekiel leaned in to point but kissed her instead. Mallory pulled away and stood up. "You're lips taste like syrup" Ezekiel smiled.
"We should go outside" Mallory said and reached for the door knob but it didn't open. Mallory pulled the door knob once again but it was locked.
"What's wrong?" Ezekiel asked. "It's locked" Mallory said. Ezekiel stood up and reached for the door knob and in fact it was locked.
"This isn't funny, you have the key don't you" Mallory asked him. "I don't have the key" Ezekiel said.
"The window" Mallory said and walked over to the window that had no way to be opened. "It doesn't open" Mallory began to panic.
"Hey, calm down. I'll call someone to help us get the door open" Ezekiel said and took his phone out. "I don't have any signal" he said so calmly. "Do you have signal?" He asked her.
"I left my phone in your car" Mallory said. "Let me look for signal" Ezekiel said and began moving around the room. Mallory paced back and forth as she waited.
Ezekiel got signal and called Liam for help. Once he was done speaking he got off the chair and took a seat. Mallory looked at him. "What?" Ezekiel asked.
"What did he say?" Mallory widened her eyes. "He'll be here in two hours" Ezekiel said. "Why not in one?"
"He's finishing up his breakfast"
"Why are you so calm?" Mallory raised her voice. "Why are you panicking?" He asked.
"I don't know if you've noticed but were locked in!"
"Liam will be her in two hours, stop panicking" Ezekiel smiled. "You did this on purpose didn't you?"
Ezekiel laughed, "I didn't. See it's destiny wanting us to be together" he smiled.
"I don't like being in small places" Mallory said. "What should we do after this?" He asked.
"Avoid each other!"
"Who would i go out with if I did that?"
"Hailey maybe" Mallory rolled her eyes. "Why do you always mention Hailey. Are you jealous of her?" He stood up and got close to her. "Why would I be jealous of her?" Mallory frowned.
"I don't know you tell me" Ezekiel smirked as he leaned in. "I'm not jealous, I'm the one who's here with you not her. It means you're head over heels for me" Mallory said. Ezekiel smiled, "you're right I am" he nodded and cupped her face to kiss her. Mallory kissed him back. She felt the kiss between them warming up. He sat her on the table as he continued kissing her. Mallory grabbed his shirt and was about to roll it up but for some reason didn't think it was the right time. However she continued kissing him making him smile in between kisses.
After a few minutes of kissing they stopped and she couldn't help but smile at him. "If you could see how beautiful you look smiling in this exact moment you'd understand why I like you" Ezekiel said. "Okay don't start getting all corny" Mallory answered.
They continued talking as they waited for Liam to get there.
~
"So let me ask you one more time, do you like me?" Ezekiel smiled. Mallory smiled back at him when they heard a knock on the door and saw Liam peek through the window. He waved at both of them and tried to get the door open until he was able to achieve it."I guess you guys can call me your hero now" Liam smirked. "Isn't it funny how you were the only person who we could reach out to for help and yet not even like that am I one bit happy to see you" Mallory said to Liam.
"That's because you're ungrateful but Ezekiel is screaming with joy, right Zeke" Liam asked Zeke. Ezekiel couldn't help but laugh, "Thank you" he said.
"So you two huh?" Liam teased them. "Shut up" Mallory pushed Liam's hat down as she walked out of the cabin.
