"Did you shower?" Mallory asked Dimitri before he hugged her. "All we did was go over the syllabus" Dimitri said as he put his arm around her.
"I'm super sweaty" Jason pat Mallory's shoulder making her scrunch her nose in disgust. "He's joking" Dimitri smiled. They took a seat in a table near the library where they waited for Cynthia, Bellami and Scott. "How were your classes?" Jason asked Mallory who sat besides Dimitri. She opened up her water bottle and took a big drink before answering .
"They're okay. I wanted anything else but art, but I'll live" Mallory shrugged.
"I'm doing video production" Jason said. "That sounds like fun" Mallory responded. "It was that or choir" Dimitri chuckled looking at Jason.
"Come on dude I have a great voice" Jason smiled. "Are you guys eating already?" Cynthia said when she arrived with Bellami to their table.
"We're not that hungry" Mallory said leaning against Dimitri.
"I'm starving, who's coming with me to the cafe?" Jason said as he stood up. "I am" Cynthia stood up and left with Jason. "Have you seen Scott?" Dimitri asked Bellami who was on her phone looking at her social medias.
"He said he wanted to change one of his classes and went up to the office" Bellami shrugged.
"Lunch bores me" Mallory said.

"New boy right?" Liam asked the guy who was new in his class. He had never seen him around campus so it's why he figured he was new. "Yeah"
"I'm Liam"
"Ezekiel" he responded. "Come eat with me. Is this your first year here?" Liam asked Ezekiel. "Yeah it is"
"You'll like it, it's the best private school here in Chicago. Have you made any friends?" Liam asked as he opened up his laptop. "I've heard it is. I spoke to a few people in my art class" Ezekiel nodded.
"Do you play any sports?" Liam asked. "Soccer. What about you?"
"Try out for the school's team. I'm in the baseball team" Liam nodded. Ezekiel turned to look at the campus and was impressed by the fine architecture. It was nothing like the public school he was attending before.
He stopped and looked at a group of friends and looked at one person in specific. "Who is she?" Ezekiel asked Liam who shut his laptop and asked who.
"The girl who has the black bow on her dress" Ezekiel pointed. "You think she's cute?" Liam raised his brow. "She's in my art class, I was just curious" Ezekiel said.
"Her name is Mallory Kline. She's the richest girl that attends this school. Her and her sister Bellami the girl sitting across from her" Liam pointed to Bellami. "She's dating someone, Dimitri Alderidge the guy sitting besides her so don't get your hopes up" Liam chuckled.
"I'm not interested she just made this comment during class that made her sound somewhat conceited" Ezekiel said to Liam.
"She's not the nicest person. The people who she's sitting with are the people she has always hung out with they keep their group small" Liam looked over at Mallory's table. "But she's really smart, she's number one in her class" Liam added. Ezekiel nodded as he looked at the way Mallory smiled every time she spoke with one of her friends.
"So are we doing anything after school?"Scott asked when he finally arrived to their table. Scott and Jason were the guys who liked to party the most but even though they liked to party they were very responsible with their school work. They all came from very wealthy and powerful families that could get them into any university they wanted but working for a ticket into their dream school was something that made them feel good about themselves.
"Don't you have football try outs?" Dimitri asked. "No. I'm already in the team I have practice next week" Scott grabbed a chip from Cynthias bag of lays. "We should go swimming before it gets cold" Cynthia suggested.
"We can swim in our house" Bellami said making Mallory turn to look at her. "We can't hang out we have plans already" Mallory said speaking for herself and Dimitri. "What plans?" Scott asked.
"That's their business" Bellami frowned. "We're going to shop to re decor his place" Mallory said.
"Didn't you decor a year ago?" Scott asked Dimitri. "I didn't really like it" Dimitri shrugged. "It looks dark and I want it to have more light I'm actually having someone come over to see if I can install lights behind the bathroom mirrors"
"Why don't you live in one your penthouses?" Jason asked Scott. "I have a suite but I like my parents house more" Scott grabbed his sparkling water.
The bell rang and they all walked towards their class. Mallory, Dimitri, and Jason had the following class together which was Language arts. They all stepped into the classroom and sat on the same table. Each table was made for three people which was perfect for them. Mallory sat in between as they waited for class to begin. Mallory took her ipad out and placed it on the table. As she set up a new word document to take notes if it was necessary Dimitri spoke to Jason.
"Do you guys want to sit beside each other?" Mallory said to them. "sit here" Mallory stood up and let Dimitri take the middle seat so she wouldn't be between them when they spoke, she found it annoying.
They continued talking when Dimitri set his hand on Mallory's thigh making her turn to look at him. He moved his eyes in the direction he wanted her to see. Mallory looked towards the door and turned to look back at Dimitri.
"What?" She asked him. "He's the new kid" Dimitri whispered. Mallory looked at Ezekiel and then turned back to her ipad. She was uninterested in anything that wasn't her school work.
"Are you my new student?" The professor asked him. Ezekiel nodded and handed him his schedule. The professor signed it and asked him to take a seat wherever he wanted. He took a seat behind Dimitri's table.
Dimitri moved a pen in between his fingers and turned to look at Ezekiel from the corner of his eye.
"I texted my mother, she's having dinner with her assistant so I can have dinner with you" Mallory said to Dimitri. "Great" Dimitri smirked.

"Im going to Dimitri's place" Mallory said to Bellami as they walked towards the pick up area where their chauffeur was waiting. "So I'm going to have dinner alone again?" Bellami asked.
"What happened to Ethan? I thought you two were back together "
"No we broke up for good, but I'll see you when you get home" Bellami said and walked towards her car.
"Hey" Dimitri hugged Mallory from behind. "Are you ready?" He smiled.
"Yeah" Mallory said and held his hand as they walked towards his car.
