Mallory walked down the hall to her locker during lunch to grab a notebook for her next class. She liked how silent the hall was because everyone was out eating. She grabbed her notebook and shut her locker making her way out of the hall.
Just as she was getting to the double doors they opened and in stepped Ezekiel who smirked when he saw her. He grabbed her hand when they were both besides each other and pulled her aside making sure nobody was there.
"I like the dress" Ezekiel commented before he leaned in to kiss her. After a few seconds of kissing she pushed back smiling.
"You know it's for the best that nobody sees us together" Mallory said.
Ezekiel smirked and nodded, "so you say. Lets go out on a date tonight" He proposed.
"Where?" Mallory asked as she looked around. "Where can I pick you up?" He asked.
"I can go to my apartment and you can pick me up there" Mallory answered. "Okay, send me the address" Ezekiel said.
"Where are we going?" Mallory smiled.
"It's a surprise just don't wear heels I mean you can but it's best if you don't" Ezekiel said and stepped away to walk over to his locker and before anyone could see them but he constantly looked over his shoulder just like she did too.
Mallory stepped out of the hall and walked over to her table where Bellami was already removing the cube hams from her salad.
Dimitri and Scott were also seated and they both smiled at Mallory who was still smiling from seeing Ezekiel in the hall.
"It's weird hanging out without Jason and Cynthia" Bellami said.
"Imagine what it'll be like when both you and I graduate" Scott said to Bellami.
"You'll miss us right?" Scott then asked Mallory and Dimitri. Dimitri nodded but Mallory was zoned out and Dimitri noticed.
Dimitri then looked another direction and saw Ezekiel stepping out of the hall Mallory had just stepped out of and felt his blood boil.
After school Mallory had Marcus drop her off at her apartment where she did her homework assignments before getting into the shower to get ready for her date.
Mallory looked through her clothes but decided she had to choose her shoes to figure out what she would match with it.
She chose camel colored sandals and grabbed her Oscar de la Renta short jumpsuit. She liked the color combination of the blue top and the orange shorts.
She finished getting ready and ran to the bathroom to wash her teeth just as she heard her phone ring. She knew it was Ezekiel who had arrived and grabbed her bag and phone before she left her apartment.
She went down to the lobby where Ezekiel was waiting on the couch and quickly got up when he saw her step out of the elevator.
"You look great" He smiled.
"Thanks" Mallory smiled and reached for his hand after he extended his to her. They walked to the parking lot and got into his car. Ezekiel reached to the backseat and grabbed the acrylic box that had twenty white roses and a bottom compartment that had chocolates and macaroons.
"I got you roses and sweets" Ezekiel handed Mallory the box.
"This is pretty" Mallory smiled when she saw the roses. She pulled the bottom compartment out and grabbed a chocolate, "thank you but you didn't have to" Mallory smiled.
"I wanted too, I mean if this date goes well it means we'll go on more dates and eventually marry and have kids" Ezekiel smirked.
"slow down" Mallory responded.
