Mallory held on to her lemonade as she looked over at Ezekiel. Scott, Dimitri, and Bellami had realized who she was looking at but Mallory didn't care.

"Why don't you invite them to have a drink with us?" Dimitri said to Mallory but she was to zoned out to hear him.

"Mal" Bellami called her and touched her shoulder making her react. "Invite them over here" Bellami pointed to Zeke, Liam, and Devin.

"They seem to be having more fun over there" Mallory said as she set her glass of lemonade aside.

Dimitri smirked as he looked at them and put his drink on the table before walking towards them.

"What is he doing?" Mallory frowned. "Being welcoming" Scott answered. "Not something he or you are very good at" Mallory said.

Dimitri stepped in between Devin and Ezekiel. He set his hands on their shoulders and smiled when he saw Liam get serious.

"Are you guys enjoying the night?" Dimitri asked.

Ezekiel looked at Dimitris hand that was still on his shoulder and moved away.

"Why don't you guys come have a drink with us?" Dimitri said looking at the three of them.

"You're inviting us?" Liam raised his brow.

"It's a special request" Dimitri shrugged. None of them answered and Dimitri was getting bored.

"Well I won't insist but you guys know where we are if you decide you do want to join us" Dimitri smiled so wickedly and turned.

Before he could walk away he leaned close to Ezekiel's ear, "it's Mallory's request" he lied.

Ezekiel turned his head slightly to look at Dimitri, "Shouldn't she be here inviting us if it was as you say it is?" Ezekiel smiled back.

"She gets shy in quite few occasions which is why I'm here. I've always enjoyed satisfying her desires" Dimitri smirked and walked away knowing that would bother Ezekiel.

He was right it did bother him because he knew what Dimitri meant and knew exactly why he did it.

"What did he say?" Liam asked Ezekiel.

"That there's not enough space in this place for ego" Ezekiel said before taking a sip of his drink.

When Dimitri got back to his friends he stepped besides Mallory. He was very close making her look at him with a serious face.

"What did you say to them?" Mallory asked. Dimitri was taking a drink of his whiskey and set it down to answer Mallorys question. He looked back at them before answering, "I invited them over but they refused. We're not the bad people here" Dimitri shrugged.

Mallory looked another the direction just to see Ethan who she raised her hand for. Ethan smiled and walked towards them making Bellami panic.

"Hey" Ethan greeted all of them.

"Excuse me" Mallory said just as they were greeting him back because he'd be of distraction to them.
Mallory walked through the crowd of people who were beginning to dance just as the song heads will roll began playing.

Mallory walked near Ezekiel and grabbed his hand taking him by surprise. He felt his hand being grabbed and frowned before realizing it was Mallory who began pulling him with her away from the crowd.

Mallory let go of his hand when they were away from everyone or at least where anyone could see them.

"You need to go" Mallory said to Ezekiel who smiled.

"Why? I thought you're the one who wanted us to join you guys for a drink. At least that's what Dimitri said" He shrugged with his drink still in his hand.

"If I wanted you guys there I would've asked you myself. Dimitri is the last person I would even send to you guys" Mallory frowned.

"So why did you ditch us to be with him?" Ezekiel asked.

"I did not ditch you and especially not for him. Bellami was there and if that's not something you want to believe me then that's your personal problem" Mallory argued.

"I called you that morning and you answered" Ezekiel said.

"I never received your call and I especially did not answer. What did I even say?" Mallory frowned.

"You didn't say a word you just picked the phone up and ended the call when I asked if I could see you somewhere after the hike" Ezekiel said.

"I didn't answer any call!" Mallory stated.

"Well then I must've heard wrong" Ezekiel said.

"Most likely. Now you should really go, this is the last place where you should even be" Mallory stepped away but he was always quick to grab her arm to stop her.

"I'll leave, only if you come with me" Ezekiel said.

"I can't" Mallory shook her head.

"Yes you can, nobody will notice" Ezekiel smiled. Mallory thought about it even though she already knew she wanted to go with him.

"I have to change first" Mallory pointed to her costume. "You look fine besides it's probably the first and last time I'll ever see you using combat boots" Ezekiel smiled.

"We cant go out through the main exit, come on" Mallory grabbed his hand and directed him towards an exit they had on one of the sides of the lake that didn't have any security.

"Where does this lake end?" Ezekiel asked. "Not far from here" Mallory answered.

"So you guys own the lake?" Ezekiel raised his brow. "Yeah" Mallory nodded as she reached the door and stretched her hand to a certain part of the bush to grab a card she needed to swipe to get the door open.

"You're house is huge, I've never been in a mansion" Ezekiel followed Mallory out.

"My great great grandfather had it built and with every generation that came along they remodeled it" Mallory explained.

They ran to his car and drove away.

Ezekiel took an exit from the highway they were on and began driving up a hill.

"Where are we going?" Mallory asked.

"A park" Ezekiel said and when they made it to the top there was a big sign that welcomed them to 'Hill Park'

"The name is ironic" Mallory smiled considering that the park was literally at the top of a hill.

"It's a great place, my parents used to bring me here every weekend when I was little" Ezekiel smiled as he parked and turned the car off.

"And you still continue to come?" Mallory raised her brow.

"Yeah, I mean look at that view. We have the city lights and you can see the highway from here" Ezekiel pointed.

Mallory did find the view to be breathtaking but when she turned to look at Ezekiel who was already looking at her she couldn't help but get nervous and blush.

Ezekiel smiled almost wanting to laugh when he saw her blush but he leaned in and left a peck on her lips making her get serious.

Mallory pushed herself a little from her seat to kiss him which he responded back to.
