Bellami stepped into Jason's house after she and Scott had jumped into the pool along with other people. She made her way towards the closest restroom and just as she was going to reach for the door knob Ezekiel stepped out.
"Excuse me" Ezekiel said before stepping to the side so Bellami could step into the restroom. "Hey you're the new student in our school right?" Bellami asked him. Ezekiel turned to look at her. "Yeah" He said.
"I'm Bellami" she stuck her hand out and he shook it. "Ezekiel" he smiled. "Are you enjoying the party?" Bellami asked.
"It's fun, you jumped into the pool?" He said looking at her wet clothes. "Yeah I got pulled in-" Bellami wanted to keep the conversation going but she didn't know what else to say.
"I'll let you do whatever it was that you were going to do" Ezekiel smiled and stepped away.
"Have you seen Bellami?" Mallory asked people who were inside Jason's house. Everyone shook their head no until she bumped into Ezekiel.
"Watch were you're going" Mallory said to him. "I was watching, you're the one who was looking somewhere else" Ezekiel said before giving her a mean glare like she gave him and walking away. Mallory turned to look at him and realized he was the only person who stood up for himself. If she had said that to anyone else they wouldn't have answered her.
Mallory walked past the restroom just as Bellami was stepping out. "Mal" Bellami called her name. "I was looking for you. I'm going home" Mallory said to Bellami.
"Why?"
"I just want to go home" Mallory said. "Are you sure?"
Mallory nodded and walked away.
During the weekend Mallory continued to ignore Dimitri's calls and text. She decided to focus on her homework and on herself and she loved every single minute of it.
Sunday afternoon her mother Antoinette knocked on her door. Mallory removed her earphones and looked at her mother.
"Dimitri is here to see you" Antoinette smiled. "Tell him I'm not home"
"I already told him you were, are you two having problems?" Antoinette asked Mallory. "No we're fine I just want time to myself. It just gets annoying being in a relationship" Mallory shrugged.
"If you're finding it annoying being with him maybe you shouldn't be together" Antoinette sat besides her. "He's a great person, I don't want to hurt him" Mallory said to her mother.
"The only way you'll hurt him is by not making it clear to him what you want" Antoinette pecked Mallory's forehead and left her bedroom.Mallory set her laptop aside and put on her hermes sandals before stepping out of her room. She walked down the hall and down the stairs to the foyer where Dimitri was waiting for her.
"Hey" she said to him. "Is everything okay?" Dimitri asked her. "Can we talk outside" Mallory said as she opened the door and stepped out. Dimitri followed her outside.
"I'm sorry for ignoring your calls and your texts. I wanted space well more time for myself"
"Did I do something wrong?" Dimitri asked concerned. "No I just wanted time to myself. What I wanted to speak to you about is about us, I think it's best if we take time to ourselves and-"
"And you're breaking up with me?" Dimitri frowned. "I'm just not happy with what we are" Mallory shrugged. "You couldn't have thought of a better way of saying it? Can I ask why you're not happy with me anymore?" Dimitri said as he looked down at the waterfall that was in the entrance of Mallory's home.
"It's a little of everything. You being possessive, my parents comparing us, everybody believing you can do more than I can. It's everything" Mallory said. "I can change that" Dimitri said.
"I just want it to be me for once. Not me and you" Mallory looked at him. Dimitri bit the inside of his lip. He clenched his jaw and nodded before walking down the steps and leaving.

"Aren't you going to feel weird sitting in the same table with him?" Bellami asked Mallory who had told her everything the night before.
"I didn't think of that, I do feel guilty though" Mallory said looking out the window of their SUV. "He'll have to understand, I think you guys can still be great friends" Bellami smiled.
Once they arrived to school Mallory told Bellami she was going to her locker then to her class. "Mal just come with us you're only making things awkward by trying to avoid seeing him" Bellami said.
"I don't care. I'll see you during lunch" Mallory said and walked towards the hall where the lockers where. Mallory opened up her locker and grabbed her art class notebook. She quickly walked over to her class in hopes of not bumping into Dimitri.
Mallory took her seat and opened up her notebook. She began sketching and decided she wanted to do sections like she saw Ezekiel do. Ezekiel stepped into the classroom and sat besides her. Mallory watched as he took out his notebook and pencils out.
"Can I ask you something?" Ezekiel looked at her. He could smell her perfume and he liked it, it wasn't a spicy or fruity smell like the ones other girls wore it had a soft unique smell.
Mallory nodded and thought it was a question that had to do with the work they were doing. "Why do you put up this act of being a mean confident girl"
"I'm not mean, I am confident"
"I can tell your confident but why be mean to people who are only trying to be kind to you?" Ezekiel asked.
"You're trying to be kind to me?" Mallory raised her brow. "Yeah" Ezekiel nodded. "Well don't" Mallory said.
"How do you make friends?" Ezekiel frowned. "I choose them" Mallory looked at him. "I thought so" Ezekiel said and continued drawing.
"What do you mean you thought so?" Mallory asked. "They all look just as self centered as you" Ezekiel said. "And you're just as immature as Liam" Mallory defended herself.
"Well I'd rather be liked for that then be talked bad about" Ezekiel smiled. "I'm sorry what is your problem? Did you want to be one of my friends?" Mallory frowned.
"I figured if I have to sit next to you all year why not get along, pero eres una sangrona" Ezekiel shrugged as he offended her in Spanish.
Mallory frowned and looked at him. "And you're dumb for thinking I wouldn't understand what you said" she said as she rolled her eyes. Ezekiel smiled, "you know spanish?"
"I take a spanish class and I have a home in Puerto Vallarta. I understand it" Mallory said before getting up to grab some materials. Ezekiel watched as she walked away and checked her out remembering how he overheard Dimitri telling Paul to stop checking her out.
He found Mallory very attractive and liked how she took care of herself. How she had her hair nicely done, the way she smelled, the way she dressed. She put in a lot of effort to her self image and it showed.
