"Your sister is hanging out with him isn't she?" Dimitri stepped behind Bellami who from a far watched Mallory exit the school.
"Have you not seen the way she zones out when she's with us or the way she's constantly smiling all the time now? They're not just hanging out, they're dating" Bellami said without turning to look at Dimitri who was still behind her.
"Your father prohibited her from seeing him didn't he?" Dimitri asked.
"Yes that's correct but Ezekiel is giving her such a great time she's going against our father's rules. I'd tell my father but I don't have any proof. Just the way Ezekiel prefers her, my father will probably believe Mallory and not me" Bellami said.
"Prefers her? Don't tell me you have a thing for the low life loser too?" Dimitri frowned.
"Would there be a problem?" Bellami turned to look at Dimitri.
Dimitri smirked and chuckled, "not one single problem. In fact, you and I can help each other. You want him and I want my girlfriend back" Dimitri said.
Bellami raised her brow allowing him to go on.
"Start talking to Mallory and be kind, convince her that you'll accept their secret and convince her enough so that she'll bring him to hang out with us. Once they begin to hang out with us we can simply create lies that'll put then against each other" Dimitri smiled.
"That's not going to work" Bellami frowned.
"It'll work" Dimitri nodded with a smirk. Bellami looked at him before walking away to exit the campus as well as Mallory was waiting in the car with their chauffeur Marcus.
Bellami stepped into the car where Mallory was seated in already. Bellami watched as Mallory scrolled through her phone and cleared her throat so that Mallory would pay her attention. Mallory in fact turned to look at Bellami who smiled.
"You have been quite happy these past days, can I ask why?" Bellami asked. She raised her eyebrow in hopes that Mallory would tell her truth that she already knew. "I have not had many homework assignments and have had more time to myself and I'm enjoying it before all the work starts drowning me again" Mallory smiled.
"Mali, you take AP classes, I doubt you're not drowning in homework. I'm sure you get it done but that's not the only reason you've been so smily. Does it have to do with Ezekiel? You know you can be honest with me Mali, you've kept the secret for me and I promise to do the same for you. I know that the day of the costume party what I said came out very mean but I can assure you that it's not how I meant it. You know father is very great but only he knows his reasons as to why he asked you to stay away from him. However if you say he's a good person and he treats you well you know you can always tell me about your day or your problems like you used to do with Dimi. I feel that you and I are aren't having our connection and I don't want that Mal because this is my last year with you before I leave to college" Bellami looked at Mallory and knew she had convinced her.
"I know" Mallory nodded.
"So tell me, are you seeing him?" Bellami smiled.
Mallory looked out the window behind Bellami before deciding to be honest with her, "we've been going out for a week now. We obviously don't speak in school because I know that someone there can tell father about us. We're keeping it a secret, well not fully because Devin and Liam know since they're good friends of him" Mallory nodded.
"And he's okay with your relationship being a secret? I mean what about his family?" Bellami asked genuinely concerned not for Mallory but for her possibilities to be with him herself.
