Liam and Devin decided they wanted to have lunch and gathered their stuff to leave. They looked at Ezekiel who was still going over his notes. "We can study tomorrow" Devin said to Ezekiel.

"Yeah but I really need to understand this problem, I'll stay for a while more" Zeke nodded. "Alright we will see you tomorrow " Liam said and both him and Devin began walking towards the door.

"Goodbye beautiful" Liam said to Mallory who just stuck her middle finger out as she wrote on her notebook.

Ezekiel went over his notes again until he too began feeling a little hungry and stood up to walk over to the cafe. Mallory was so focused on her work she didn't see him pass by. She thought he had left with Liam and Devin.

When zeke came back he had a plate of fries and chicken tenders. Mallory looked at him as he walked to his seat. She looked at her ipad and saw that it was sufficiently charged and unplugged it to return the charger.

She walked over to Ezekiel and handed him the charger. "Thanks" she said and turned.

"Hey" Ezekiel said making her turn to face him. "Are you taking by any chance Calculus?" He asked.

"AP?" Mallory asked. He nodded. "Yeah"

"Do you think you can help me with one of these problems" Ezekiel pointed to his notebook. She looked at the problem and leaned to explain. Ezekiel was paying attention until he got the scent of her perfume. He looked at her from the corner of his eye.

"Can I borrow your pencil?" She asked him. "Yeah" he handed her his pencil and she began writing besides his notes step by step.

"And that's how you get the answer" She said as she put his pencil down and walked back to her seat. "Thanks" zeke said from his seat.

Mallory took her seat and gathered her stuff. She looked outside the window and noticed it was just beginning to rain. She quickly put her stuff into her backpack and stood up. She walked out of the lounge and called her chauffeur but he said it would take him about an hour to pick her up since he had taken her mother to her father's office.

Mallory walked back to her locker and put some notebooks away. Ezekiel stepped out of the lounge and walked towards the hallway door. Mallory didn't want to be the only person left in the campus besides the staff so she looked at Ezekiel.

"Hey" Mallory called him. He didn't turn he continued walking pushing the door open. "Zeke" she yelled making him turn.

"Do you drive to school?" She asked him. "Yeah" he said.

"Do you think you can give me a ride home?" She asked. He was taken back remembering when he saw her get off her SUV that was driven by a chauffeur. "My family's chauffeur is running errands with my mother and won't be able to be here until about an hour" she said.

"Sure" he nodded. "Can you just wait until the rain stops a little" Mallory said because she didn't have an umbrella or a sweater that could cover her to get from the building they were in all the way to the student parking lot.

"By the look of the clouds it's not going to stop any time soon" Zeke said to her. "We can run to my car" he suggested. "I'm wearing heels I can slip" She frowned.

"Want me to carry you?" He chuckled and kept a smile on his face. "No" she said looking out at the rain that was only falling harder. "Alright well I'll wait for you in the car" Zeke smiled as he was enjoying what was happening.

Zeke used his backpack to cover his head as he walked out. Mallory looked at him and knew the rain wouldn't stop so she quickly grabbed a newspaper that was in the entrance of the hall and followed Ezekiel. She picked up her pace and walked past him when she felt something hit her hard and saw that hail was falling.

"Run" Mallory said to Ezekiel who was already running behind her. As they both ran towards the parking lot Ezekiel couldn't help but laugh. "I thought you said you couldn't run in heels" he said to her.

"I can't" she said. "It's the white jeep" Ezekiel pointed to his car. They were just a few feet away when Mallory stepped on oil and slipped down to her knees. Ezekiel turned and wanted to laugh but quickly helped her up and opened his car so she could step in. Once she was in the passenger seat he got into the drivers seat and tossed his backpack to the back seat.

"Are you okay?" He looked at her as he smiled still wanting to laugh. "I twisted my ankle but I'll be fine" Mallory said as she saw that her stocking ripped from her knee.

"It's hailing hard, do you want me to wait?" He asked. "Yeah" she said opening her backpack to look for a wipe to clean her hands. She didn't have any and asked him if he had paper.

"I think I have some kleenex" he said and looked for them. He handed them to her and she cleaned her hands with some hand sanitizer that she had. "I think it would've been the same if I had just waited for my chauffeur, I wouldn't have fallen" Mallory said. Ezekiel nodded but didn't say anything he tapped his steering wheel.

"Do you want to listen to some music?" He asked her. She shrugged and cleaned her knee that thankfully didn't scrape it was just her stocking that ripped.

"So this is how our first date was meant to happen" Ezekiel smiled waiting for her to say something but she just turned to look at him. "I'm joking" he said before she could say anything.

"Do you live far from here?" Mallory asked him. "About thirty minutes" He said. "Why did you just move to this school?" She asked. He thought about telling her about his scholarship but felt embarrassed knowing she was a billionaire and he was nowhere near rich he was just lucky.

"It was just recently recommended to me" He smiled hoping she wouldn't ask what school he previously attended. "So tell me about you" he asked.

"Have Liam and Devin not said enough about me already?" She raised her brow. "Why would they say anything about you?"

"I overheard you guys in the lounge speaking about Dimitri and I. You guys aren't so good at whispering" Mallory smiled. "We weren't speaking about you guys" Ezekiel lied.

"I heard something about Dimitri being very influential on me. He's not. They don't know him and they especially don't know me. The part about Devin's father being my family's lawyer is true though. With an empire like my father's you never know when you'll need one. It's good to have one in your pocket" Mallory smiled.

Ezekiel looked at her differently as she said that. He wasn't intimidated like he should have been but he was surprised that someone so young could think like that, she made it clear that she had power.

"Why do you guys speak of me?" She asked him. "Why do you think we speak of you?" Ezekiel frowned.

"Do you feel attacked? It's probably because it's true your body language says more than your words" Mallory said. "Psychology?" He raised his brow.

She nodded. "Do you like me?" She asked. "No" he answered. "So why do you always want to have a conversation with me?"

"Because people have conversations" he shook his head. "The conversations you try to have with me aren't simple conversations, you ask me very personal questions" Mallory looked out the window of his car.

"But I don't like you" he chuckled. "How did you and your ex girlfriend begin dating?" Mallory looked at him.

"Some friends we had in common set us up on a date." He shrugged. "Blind date, cute" Mallory commented.

"How did you and your ex boyfriend date?" Zeke asked. "We've been friends since we were little and have always been attracted to each other so he asked me out when we were in middle school" she said.

"Was he your first boyfriend?"

"Yeah" she nodded.
