"Thank you" Mallory said and was about to open the door when Ezekiel grabbed her hand making her turn. He leaned in to give her a soft peck on the lips. She smiled.
"Goodbye" she smiled as she got off his car. The security guard opened the gate when he saw her step out of the car.
He got the cart ready to take her up to the house. "Should I have that vehicle approved to come up to the house?" The guard asked since it was the second time he saw her in that car.
Mallory was going to say yes but decidedly not to. "I'll speak about it with my father first" Mallory said.
Once they got to the house she stepped in and saw Bellami walking towards her. "Where have you been? We had breakfast together and you were no where to be found"
"I slept in my apartment" Mallory answered. "With who?" Bellami raised her brow. "It was just me" Mallory said.
"Why did you leave the races yesterday?" Bellami asked. She knew she had met up with Ezekiel because even though Mallory thought she didn't know Bellami had seen Ezekiel looking up at her. She realized they were both gone at the same time.
"I bumped into Monique when I went to the restroom and we went out for coffee" Mallory lied. She began walking up the stairs beside Bellami.
"Why are you lying?" Bellami stopped walking when they were near her room. "I'm not" Mallory responded. "You know you can trust me, right?" Bellami looked at Mallory. "I know" Mallory nodded.
"Are you seeing someone?" Bellami smiled knowing exactly who Mallory was seeing. Mallory looked around the hall before grabbing Bellami's hand and pulling her to her room. Mallory closed the door behind them.
"I can't lie to you. There is someone I've been hanging out with" Mallory smiled with the thought of Ezekiel.
"You're back with Dimitri? I'm so happy for you" Bellami hugged Mallory. Once she let go Mallory shook her head.
"It's not Dimi" Mallory said. "So who is it?" Bellami said with a serious face. "I don't think you know him, he's in my grade. Well he should be in your grade but they held him back because he was born in December and-"
"Who is it Mal?" Bellami cut her off. "His name is Ezekiel Hirsch" Mallory smiled. "Is he the guy that hangs out with Devin and Liam?" Bellami asked.
Mallory nodded, "do you know him?"
"No. I've heard Devin and Liam have conversations and mention him" Bellami nodded. "How long have you guys been going out? Oh, is he the reason why you broke up with Dimi?" Bellami raised her brow.
"No he's not the reason at all. We have art together and we sit next to each other but the day of the ball we danced and we might have kissed too" Mallory smiled. "You guys danced at the ball? I didn't see you guys"
"We danced outside, it was cute." Mallory said. "So you guys are trying to keep this a secret?"
"No. Well I don't know. We aren't a couple. I actually didn't want to admit to him or to myself that I liked him until today. We went out to a cabin that's like an hour away and had breakfast and accidentally got locked in for about two hours."
"How did you get out?" Bellami asked.
"He got signal and called Liam for help"
"So Liam knows about you two?"
"He has a hint I guess. Like I said, we aren't a couple I guess we're just going out for now. He's really attractive and he's funny. I like that he doesn't take my attitude to seriously or knows how to respond to my mean comments." Mallory blushed.
"He does seem like a really good person" Bellami said remembering how much effort she put into her outfits to get his attention especially at the ball where she was let down. Not by him but by herself for making herself believe he could like her when all he was doing was being kind to her. "So why did he move to Lomas?" Bellami asked.
Mallory had never asked nor did she know he was there due to a scholarship he received. "I haven't asked" Mallory shook her head. "Really? Why? Do you know about his family?"
"No but it's not like we're getting married, I think were going at a good pace" Mallory shrugged. "Right" Bellami nodded. "What about Dimitri?" Bellami added.
"What about him?"
"Well I thought you said maybe things would work out and you two would get back together"
"The real reason why I broke up with him is was I wasn't content with him anymore. It's different with Ezekiel, he makes things feel out of the ordinary and with Dimitri the relationship was always a routine" Mallory looked at Bellami. "But how are you and Ethan doing?"
"We're doing okay, I'm just with him for fun. I don't really have feelings for him anymore" Bellami said so coldly. "So break up with him" Mallory said. "Not yet"
"Ethan is really attractive, you two make a really good couple. He's like the guy you've been in love with the most hasn't he?" Mallory asked.
"Sort of. I have to go with father to his office we'll talk when I get back" Bellami smiled before leaving Mallory's bedroom.

Bellami got into the black SUV with her father and they left to his office. She looked out the window before looking at her father. "Can I ask you something? I mean you're really good at investigating people"
"And you want me to investigate someone for you? What's this persons name?" Roman raised his brow.
"Ezekiel Hirsch" Bellami said. Roman turned to look at her. "He's this new student in school and he's there because he got a scholarship but from what I know our school doesn't give scholarships" Bellami said.
"Are you having problems with him? Or is it that he's attracted to you?" Roman asked
"None, he's attracted to Mallory. I'm worried about her because we know nothing about him. I don't even think she knows he's there because of a scholarship" Bellami said.
"There's no such thing as a scholarship at Lomas. I put him in there, I pay a tuition for him" Roman said.
"Why? Who is he?" Bellami frowned. "His father works for our enterprise, an industrial engineer. A really good engineer but lots of things point to him being a thief at our enterprise. I put his son in Lomas to keep an eye on him and his father. This kid believes he actually has a scholarship and I intend for him to keep believing that, understood?" He looked at Bellami with a serious face making her nod.
