"What do you want Taehyung?" Jimin sighs, seeing the grinning man on the other side of the monitor.
"Dr Tae Tae in the house. Let me in."
"Tae she's fine, you don't need to come and look after her. I'm here."
"I know." Tae nods as he gets closer to the screen. "But I just want to check on her. I won't feel right if I don't."
"Fine." Jimin huffs, pressing the button for the gates to open.
Looking over at Jungkook who is trying to oppress his smile, Jimin just rolls his eyes. But secretly he's actually pleased Taehyung has shown up. As much as he knows that Y/N loves him, he feels that maybe she would open up more to her best friend.
"Told you." Jungkook mutters, looking into the foyer as his older brother bursts through the door.
"Where's the patient?"
"She's in bed. But she's probably sleeping so don't go bursting through the bedroom door like you just did with that one. She's a little fragile right now."
Looking at Jungkook with a frown, Tae drops his bag on the counter. He wants to ask if it's something serious, but he also doesn't want to pry in their relationship. He knows that if she wants him to know the details, she will tell him herself.
"Which door?"
"Up the stairs, right at the end of the hall." Jimin answers him, keeping his eyes on the laptop in front of him.
"Jimin? Are you okay?" Tae asks carefully, taking a seat beside him as Jimin silently nods.
"He's lying." Jungkook speaks up on his behalf. "He's been moping the entire time I've been here. He's obviously not telling us something."
Reaching up to put his hand on Jimin's shoulder, Tae tilts his head slightly to try and get a look at Jimin's face trying to gage his emotions by his facial expression.
"Is there something going on between you and Y/N? Is this whole her being sick thing a lie, and you guys just had an argument or something?"
"No. Y/N and I as a couple are solid. She's going to move in actually. But she is sick, and I'm partly to blame." Jimin mumbles the last part of his sentence, too busy trying not to break down in front of the two men.
"I don't understand." Jungkook frowns as he looks over at his brother. "How can you be to blame?"
"I suppose I can tell you guys. Because she'll probably tell you anyway Tae and Kook is your brother. But she had gotten her period whilst we were away in the Bahamas." Taking a quivering breath, Jimin looks up for the first time, seeing the two of them sitting either side of him listening intently as he gathers himself to drop the bomb. "We went to see her doctor today. She was just supposed to get a new implant ya know, nothing major. But the doctor did some tests and um, it wasn't her period. She had a miscarriage. She's having a miscarriage. The doctor gave her some stuff to take and she's currently up in my, in our bedroom losing the baby we didn't even know we had."
