After years of bouncing around from casino to casino as a poker host, you finally found one that you believed you could spend the rest of your career at, thanks to them, your guys.
Six of the best men you could imagine, each one of them with their o...
"They found out Jimin. Ava said they fired her on the spot."
"Fuck!" Jimin hisses.
Turning back to see the owners of the business he's investing in sitting patiently waiting through the tall glass walls, Jimin already knows his choice.
"I'm coming home. Keep searching."
Hanging up before Tae can answer him, he crashes back through the door startling the men in the room.
"I'm very sorry gentlemen, something has come up at home." Pulling at his suit tie, he struggles to keep his composure as he packs away his laptop and some of the paperwork with his shaky hands. "I'll be in touch."
Not sparing them a second glance Jimin is out the door, already with his phone to his ear dialling the number for his pilot.
His insides feel like they are quivering. He knows she's not the type of woman to do anything rash. But he knows how she must be feeling right now and he's cursing himself for not being there.
Meanwhile at home, Tae has taken charge in the find Y/N mission. Sending the guys to several places he thinks she might be. Her old home, the park, the rundown diner the two of them like to go for lunch and late night snacks. But they all turned up with nothing. Phone calls from whoever he sent to each place to find her with no results.
"Have you asked Sarah?" He asks Namjoon as he passes him in the hall.
"First person I called. Nothing."
"And Haven?" He looks towards Yoongi standing beside him.
"Nothing." Yoongi shakes his head.
"Where the hell is she?!" Tae yells, growing more impatient as time goes on.
Meanwhile...
"So pretty."
Smiling to herself as she eyes the flowers that keep popping into her vision, she feels like she's on a cloud. The two bottles of ruby red liquid sprawled out on the floor may have something to do with how fabulous she is feeling at this precise moment, but she's just too drunk to care.
Mission accomplished. Get numbingly drunk in the hopes that it drowns out her real emotions and replaces her sorrow with euphoria.
But it's still there. Eating away at her in the back of her mind as the flowers continue to come in and out of focus.
"I could become a gardener?" She tells herself, trying to focus on the shrubbery. "No. That would be a useless job in the winter. I suppose could just become a professional poker player like Jiminie." She shrugs, but the thought of constantly being looked down on in what is essentially a mans' world sways her from pursuing that option.
"Dominatrix?" She giggles to herself, falling back and spreading her legs wide. "Definitely more of a sub." She mumbles with a shake of her head.
Feeling her tired eyes start to droop, she lets out a deep huff and turns back to see the bright lights behind her. She knows she should really be getting herself to bed soon, secretly hoping that if she does, she may wake up to find out that it's all been a nasty dream.
But the thought of going to bed alone was enough to convince her to stay exactly where she is for now. Swinging away watching the moon disappearing behind the trees.
Speeding down the freeway towards their home, Jimin had just landed after what he describes as the longest 2 hour flight of his life. He even contemplated asking the pilot if he could go any faster but he didn't want to look like a panic stricken fool so he kept that one to himself.
But now that he's the one behind the wheel, he doesn't care how many laws he is breaking as he presses the pedal to the floor, he needs to find her.
Grateful for his love of sports cars, he sighs in relief as it takes him little to no time to reach the grand front gates of his home. Pulling in the driveway, he spots all of the guys cars scattered around. Including Y/Ns?
Frowning as he leaps from the car and jogs towards the house, he looks at her car hoping that it means that she's finally home and the panic is over.
"Baby?!" He yells as soon as he falls through the door to be met by Tae running out of the kitchen.
"Oh thank god you're here!" Tae breathes out. "We've been searching everywhere for her. Do you think it's time to call the police?"
Following Jimin like a lost puppy as he starts to search the house himself, Tae is serious about getting law enforcement involved so soon. He knows that you are supposed to wait a certain amount of time before filing a missing person report, but now that he finds himself in this situation he thinks that's a stupid rule. If a person is what their family considers missing, they should be able to have the authorities help right away. Not have to wait 24 hours so that something terrible can happen.
"Her car is in the driveway." Jimin informs him as he pulls the door to another empty room closed.
"It is?" Tae frowns, watching Jimin going to the next room. "Do you think she ran away?"
"Why would she do that?" Jimin breathes out, walking down the hall towards the sun room.
Flipping on the light, he scans the room quickly before letting out a sigh and flipping it off. As soon as he turns the light off however, something catches his eye, making his eyebrows knit together once he realises what it is that he's looking at.
"Tae come here a sec." He calls out, Taehyung walking in right after he hears his name. "You searched the whole house?"
"Top to bottom." Tae nods. "More than once. She's not here."
"Right." Jimin sighs, grabbing the blanket from the back of the sofa. "And not once one of you thought to look out of the fucking window!?"
"What?!" Tae yells in shock, watching Jimin walk out of the sunroom and towards Y/N who is swinging peacefully on their new love swing at the bottom of the garden.
