Driving away from their new business, Jimin struggled to keep his smirk at bay. He found it comical that she would even think that he would go behind her back with another woman. To the point she felt the need to follow him to try and catch him out.

"It's not funny Jimin." Y/N pouted, sinking down in her seat as they drove towards the setting sun. "You should be flattered that I care enough to spy on you."

"It is funny, baby. You literally dressed in all black and followed me. What were you expecting to find?"

"I dunno." She shrugs. "But I know what I didn't want to find."

"And you never will." He smiles, pulling her and into his and resting it on his lap. "So you never have to worry about that."

"Where are we going anyway?" She sighs, noticing him pulling onto the freeway.

"How does a night at the shore riding rides and eating junk food sound?" He grins, knowing that she would be excited by something as simple as that.

After the hour-long drive, they could finally see the flashing lights of the Jersey shore ahead of them, causing both of them to shift excitedly in their seats. Although they were both in their mid-twenties, they certainly weren't there for the bars and clubs. Instead they were both itching to go on each ride at least once and eat as much food as their bodies could handle.

Jumping out of the car as soon as it was in park, they both grinned at each other as they took each other's hands and ran towards the bright lights, feeling like teenagers again as the sounds of excited screams filled their ears.

"That one first!" Y/N yelled over the noise, pointing at the largest ride in the park.

After they had gone on every single ride the sun had already completely set, giving the fairground a different ambiance as it began to slowly get busier and the lines to the rides got longer.

"Let's get some nachos or something, yeah?" Jimin suggested, pulling her towards the food stalls lining the boardwalk.

"And a slushy." Y/N grinned, hooking her arm around his and following his lead.

Standing in line, Jimin had his arms wrapped securely around her shoulders as she stood in front of him looking over the menu.

"Look baby, they have funnel cakes." He points out, causing her to jiggle happily in his arms.

She couldn't help the contented sigh that escaped her lips as she lent back against his chest. This moment right here, with this man, could not be anymore perfect. This is all she needed and will ever need in her life. A man that will match her playfulness, match her joy and her passions as well as loving her like she's going out of fashion.

"I love you so much Jimin." She breathed out, turning in his arms as they shuffled closer to the front of the line. "I'm sorry I doubted you. I guess I was just scared that it was true that nothing can ever be this perfect."
