After a few rounds of poker and a lot more rounds of shots, it's safe to say that everyone but me is less than sober at this point. But it's fun to watch, it's also nice to see Y/N let her hair down. She has to be so formal in the casino so to see her dressed down is nice. It's a welcome change, I feel like I'm seeing the real woman she is.
"Tae, are you okay?" Y/N asks him as he sighs for the umpteenth time this evening.
"Just thinking." He shrugs, downing the rest of his beer before grabbing another.
Sticking out her bottom lip, I watch as she stands, climbing onto his lap as he wraps his arms around her.
"Tell me what's wrong Tae Tae." She says quietly, brushing his hair away from his face.
With everyone else focusing on their own conversations around us, I watch the pair over my phone as I hold it up to my face, looking around every so often to make sure no one can tell I'm eavesdropping. Watching the two of them interact is nice, it's like looking at two people that have been friends since childhood that will always have each other's backs. When in fact, I know that they have only been friends for a couple of years.
"It's women stuff." He sighs, placing his drink on the table in front of him.
"Well, being a woman myself, I'm sure I can help." She giggles "So tell me, what's the issue?"
"Why are all you women so complicated?" He whines, making me smile at my phone.
"Complicated?! What the hell do you mean complicated?!" She answers, looking offended by his choice of words.
"Well I have these two women I'm seeing, and I can't decide who I like better. It's so complicated!" Closing my eyes trying to concentrate, I hear her take a deep breath before opening them back up.
"Are you fucking kidding me right now Tae? That's your issue?" She slaps his chest.
"Well they are just so different from each other ya know. Like, one of them is really sweet and caring, kinda shy sometimes and makes me want to be a man and protect her from anything bad. And the other, she's wild and fun and makes me her bitch in the bedroom."
Staring at him blankly before blinking a few times,Y/N shakes her head before taking a deep breath.
"Tae are you looking to settle down? Like actually be exclusive for a change?" She tilts her head, catching my eye as she leans back to grab her drink off of the table.
"I think so." He nods. "But I don't know who with."
"Well, it's simple. Go with the one that lights up whenever she looks at you." She shrugs before taking a sip of her drink.
"So the fun, crazy one then. Because she smokes."
Now I can't help but laugh to myself at his answer. Is he really that slow witted?
