"It's not how it sounds." Tae defends. "We were drunk and it just happened. It wasn't something we were thinking was going to happen. It just did."
"Oh honey I'm not worried about that." Ryan responded with a wave of his hands. "It's just the whole you not being sure of your sexuality thing that I want to know about."
"Well you're sure now. Right Tae?" Y/N asks, gripping Jimin's legs harshly under the table, her nails digging into his flesh as he silently winces beside her.
"Yes definitely." He nods with pleading eyes looking at Ryan. "You know you're the first man I've ever been with, but I'm 100 percent sure this is exactly where I belong. It's about the person and the way they make me feel, not the gender."
"Wow." Ryan breathes out, placing his napkin down on the table as he shifts in his seat. "I've learnt a lot about you in the past 10 minutes Taehyung. The freaky relationship you seem to have with your best friend and her boyfriend, the fact that you apparently don't want to label your sexual preference and the fact that you introduced me as your boyfriend for the first time thinking that I wouldn't notice."
"I did do that." Tae grins. "But I was actually hoping you would notice."
"Well I did. And it made me feel giddy enough for me not to give a shit about anything else."
"So you're not mad?"
"Why would I be mad?" Ryan frowns. "If anything I'm jealous you got to see this hot piece of ass naked and I didn't"
Nodding his head to a smug Jimin, everyone starts to laugh as the atmosphere noticeably changes from thick to relaxed, especially as they watch Ryan eyeing Jimin from across the table with his bottom lip tucked securely between his teeth.
After brunch, everyone decided to take a stroll around the backyard. Being her first time actually seeing it in person rather than from the bedroom window, Y/N was amazed at it's size. Of course after the harsh winter it required some TLC, but other than that, it was a quite nice garden she could see herself spending most of her days in once the weather had warmed up much more.
"Are you happy baby?" Jimin asked as he wrapped his arm around her, walking side by side as she assessed the condition of the flower beds.
"Very." She smiles at him, leaning into his body as she looks over at her best friend at the opposite end of the garden. "I don't think I've ever seen Tae so happy either."
"I thought I royally fucked up earlier." He laughs. "Was seriously waiting for you to beat the shit out of me."
"You got off lightly Mr Park." She smirks, pulling away from him to take a closer look at the flower beds. "Do you think it would be okay if I started growing vegetables once the season comes around?"
"Of course not." Jimin grins. "I'm sure our new chef would enjoy using them."
"He's not here permanently is he?" She frowns, standing back up to face him with her hands resting on her hips.
"Not full time, no." Jimin shakes his head. "But he will be here to cook on your days off so that you can relax. Also i've hired a maid to come and clean three times a week but that will be on the days that you are working. I want to help you out baby, I really do. It's just that this house is so big that I feel like that if we don't hire help we will be spending our time cleaning it instead of enjoying it."
"I suppose that makes sense." Y/N sighed, turning to look up at the grand house behind them.
She hated to admit it, but Jimin was completely right. They needed help with the house. Of course they could just downsize, maybe even live at her house instead. But a mans' home is like his cars. The bigger and louder, the better it is for their ego.
"How do you feel about maybe putting in a pool once the ground thaws?" He asks, kicking his boot into the partially frozen lawn. "I think it would be nice to spend time out here lazing by the pool in the summer."
"Sounds perfect actually. Maybe a hot tub too?" Y/N asks, her speedy agreement making Jimin's head to shoot up and look at her to make sure she isn't being sarcastic.
"Are you serious?" He asks with his eyebrows creased.
"I am actually." She smiles, looking past him at Tae and Ryan walking their way.
"Think we are gonna head home guys. My uh, my family is coming over for dinner." Tae says nervously. "It's a day of meeting everyone for the first time apparently."
"Have you told them about Ryan at least?" Y/N asks. She knew that his parents had seen the footage of Tae declaring his love for cock live on TV. Hell most of America had. But seeing as Tae didn't come running to her having a nervous breakdown, she just assumed that it either went well, or he lied through his teeth.
"I mean I told them the truth about what they had seen, and that I was seeing someone. So yeah. I just didn't go into detail." Tae shrugs, glancing at Ryan who is standing by his side. "And Kookie still thinks I'm pulling the world's biggest prank."
"Well if Kook is an ass about it just send him my way." Jimin suggests, puffing out his chest trying to look even more buff than he already is. "I owe that kid a few punches to the face."
"No I'm sure it will be fine." Tae laughs, lacing his fingers with Ryan's. "Are you ready to go?"
"Yep. It was nice to meet you guys." Ryan smiles at the couple opposite them.
"It was really nice to meet you too." Y/N grins, leaning into Jimin as he wraps his arm around her shoulder. "Take care of my best friend."
"I'll take as good care of him as you did my dear." Ryan smirks, making everyone's face turn crimson before he pulls Tae out of the garden and back through the house, leaving Y/N and Jimin standing alone with their jaws close to hitting the frozen lawn.

Sorry for not updating yesterday! I did say if work got a bit crazy then my updates might slow down. Well I ran out of pre written chapters so I just had to skip a day of publishing. It may happen again but I will NOT abandon this book! I'm gonna take you lovely people all the way to 100 chapters 😊
