To say I woke up a little fuzzy would be the understatement of the year. I feel like my body is as fragile as a pane of glass teetering on the edge of a skyscraper, and the nausea is a bitch also. I'm so grateful for Namjoon for letting me stay over last night but I cannot for the life of me even remember how I wound up in his guest room.
But apparently I did promise to go to the tournament tonight and I can not be happier that Jimin called and offered to drive me because I am in no fit state to drive tonight. Even if it is currently 8pm, I fear I still may be over the legal limit to operate a car right now.
And I am going to say the typical 'I'm never drinking again' which of course is a lie.
Waiting in the living room for Jimin, I'm on my third round of aspirin of the day when the doorbell sounds through the house, making me clutch my head in pain until the ringing stops.
Walking to the door, my footing is still a little unstable and honestly, it's getting old now. I have no idea what happened to me, but as soon as I hit legal drinking age my hangovers have been a bitch. I think it's the universe's way of paying me back for being a rebel teen and drinking underage. Because fuck am I paying for it now in my 20s.
Pulling the door open, Jimin grins at me, letting out a breathy chuckle as he observes my condition.
"Feeling fragile are we, beautiful?"
"You have no idea." I groan, bending over to slip on my shoes. "I don't remember a thing."
"Well I remember everything." He smirks. "And I must say, it was an interesting night."
"Oh god." I groan again, leaning back on the wall. "What did I do?"
"More like what did we do."
Dropping my head in my hands, I internally scream trying to piece the night together to no avail.
"Did we have sex?"
"Not yet." He grins, pulling my hand to help me stand straight.
"Not yet?" I question him as he pulls me out the house.
"It's only a matter of time if you keep kissing me the way you did last night." He chuckles.
Stopping in my tracks, my jaw hits the floor. We kissed? Again? What the hell is wrong with me?!
"Erm Jimin." I say, looking at his fingers still locked with mine. "Did anyone see us?" "No." He shakes his head. "Your secret is safe. Now come on or we are going to miss the registration."
After the hour drive to the venue, we park up next to Tae's car after we spot it in the parking lot next to the other guys. I'm guessing they weren't as wasted as I apparently was last night if they all decided to drive. They normally bring their own cars to the tournaments out of town in case some of them are out early, saves having to wait around for each other as these things can last well into the night.
