Much to Y/N's relief the weekend seemed to roll around pretty quickly. She wanted nothing more than to spend her well deserved time off snuggling up to Jimin doing absolutely nothing but eat, sleep, sex and repeat. And that's exactly what they had planned.
That is until his dad called to make a reservation with his favourite chef.
So now once again, Y/N finds herself in the supermarket on a Saturday morning whilst Jimin chills out at home, searching for ingredients to make another dish to wow his parents.
"I swear, this man better learn how to cook soon." She grumbled to herself as she threw a bag of spaghetti into her cart.
She found herself resenting him knowing that he would probably just be sat around watching television and playing with his damn cat. She also resented Daniel. Simply because if he hadn't have put the fear of her losing her job in her mind, she would have dragged Jimin's ass out shopping with her.
But no. Now instead she's all alone in a supermarket full of housewives and their screaming kids.
Letting out a large sigh as she stared at the various brands of passata on the shelf, she could feel a presence behind her before she turned to meet the eyes of a stranger smiling at her.
"You look about as happy to be in this place as I do." He chuckles, stepping beside her as she smiles politely. "Do you need help deciding?" He asks, pointing at the shelf.
"No thank you." She breathes out, grabbing the nearest packet.
"I'm guessing you're not cooking for a date then?" The stranger continues, looking into her cart. "Just an observation from seeing you pick the one with garlic."
"It just tastes better."
Frowning to herself as she begins to walk away, she tries hard to not get her back up about a random man assuming that she's single just because she's shopping alone. For all he knows she could be shopping for her husband or boyfriend. Which is exactly what she's doing. But that doesn't mean she needs to justify her choice in pasta sauce to a complete stranger.
Leaving him stood in the pasta aisle, she ignores his stares and makes her way over to the fresh meat, now trying to decide which meat to use for her meatballs, or if she should just grab a bag of frozen and hope Jimin's parents won't notice.
Pulling her phone out of her pocket once she feels it begin to vibrate, although she's pissed at him, she still can't help but smile when she sees Jimin's face flashing across her screen for an incoming video call.
"Yes Mr Park?" She smiles at the screen, seeing him grinning on the other end. "What do you need?"
"You." He smirks. "And some shaving cream."
"I'm sorry, I must have missed the point in which I went from being your girlfriend to being the help. Buy your own damn groceries. I'm only doing this because it's your parents."
