𝑏𝑟𝑜𝑘𝑒𝑛 𝑠𝑜𝑢𝑙 ᴹᴬᴿᴷ ᴸᴱᴱ

３．０ - ｍｉｓｓｉｏｎ ｃｏｍｐｌｅｔｅｄ

during the time haewon was asleep mark started his preparations for the mission. he was told that he needed haewon to finish it, the discussion whether she takes part in it or not made him mad since everyone decided she should help.

sighing he ran his hand trough his hair, not wanting to overwork haewon due to her injuries she was suffering from. entering the room he saw a peacefully sleeping haewon. not wanting to wake her up, mark just sat down next to her on the bed, admiring her face. 

the more he had interactions with her, the feeling of wanting to be right next to her all the time had increased and he didn't know how to feel about it. it felt like his body was drawn to her, but his mind told him otherwise.

he didn't notice how his lips curled into a small smile, caressing haewon's cheek gently. from that, haewon woke up. mark immediately took his hand away, clearing his throat. haewon on the other side looked pretty disoriented trying to figure out what day it actually was. 

mark tried to hold in his smile, but it was a ghost of a smile plastered on his face. haewon took notice of that, wondering whether she looked funny.

"is there something on my face?"

"oh n-nno nothing. I need to talk to you about a mission we got and we apparently really need you in there so"

did he just stutter?

" 'apparently' huh?"

haewon smirked at him to what mark replied with rolling his eyes while grinning.

"whatever, are you feeling good enough to talk about some preparations?"

there it was again, the concern in his eyes. haewon couldn't put a finger on it whether she just imagined the concern in his eyes or if it was really there.

"yeah I'm feeling pretty well actually, so what is it this time"

"guy around 20. he is apparently responsible for a lot of problems within our territory. still kind of new in the game but I don't think that just running around in other's properties might cause some danger for his side"

"probably thinks the faster he gets in the faster he will gain allies or maybe even end other gangs"

"might be, in that case we need to find out more about his new formed gang, it shouldn't be more than 20 as far as we got it now so based on people we are stronger plus they work really sloppily so it should be an easy one"

"alright but why are they so dangerous then?"

"even though the gang may be smaller, he somehow managed to get to some other gangs where he is close to getting allies which could be bad for us, he could get dangerous for our part"

"alright, any information to members?"

"actually we do, just not all of them, taeil and a few others are working on it"

"alright I need the files and maybe some footage to see what I'm working with. we gotta come up with a good plan without any side effects, and I think we will need more members this time, maybe even all 23 of you"

"yeah would be best if we play safe and make sure everything goes smooth"

haewon nodded. the man may didn't sound all too dangerous. but if he got the connections to bigger cartels, nct, skz and them wouldn't be safe anymore and could lose it all. they needed all the information they could get.

"alright I guess I will head home and we will discuss all the things tomorrow?"

"no you're staying here"

"wait what?"

haewon was caught off guard not expecting him to tell her she should stay.

"Johnny and taeyong insisted that you should stay here for a few days before you go back just in case your dad is still raged plus here is always someone around in case you need anything"

she wanted to complain, but realized that he was actually right. her wounds were still pretty bad and it wasn't looking all too good with her dad yet.

"can I at least shower?"

"do that I will go downstairs to the others just come down when you're ready"

with that haewon got up and went into the bathroom which was attached to his room. the shower wasn't as pleasant as it normally was considering she needed to take off all the bandages to wash the bruises properly with water.

it stung a bit, but wasn't too bad. after she came out of the shower, dried her off and put on new bandages, she decided to get dressed. until she remembered, that she didn't have any change of clothes with her. 

with a towel around her body, haewon made her way back into mark's room trying to figure out what to do. when she suddenly saw a pile of clothes on the bed with a small note attached to it.

"here, wear these -m"

already knowing from who these were from she just decided to put them on. the outfit consisted out of a hoodie which was way too big for her paired with some joggers which were also oversized on her, but they were comfy so she went with it.

on her way down she heard some chattering coming from the kitchen. going inside she saw mark talking to Johnny and taeil. as soon as haewon entered the room they stopped talking, turning their heads to look at her.

mark's mouth slightly parted seeing her in his clothes. she looks adorable. 

"oh you're looking better"

Johnny started the conversation.

"yeah I also feel a lot of better after this shower and changing my bandages"

"can imagine, anyways are you feeling good enough for the mission?"

"yeah I'm good, care to help me catch up on the things going on?"

"yeah I will do that, Johnny you can go and talk to taeyong already"
