the next morning haewon woke up around 9am seeing the boys still sleeping. not wanting to wake them up she decided to go downstairs into the kitchen. while she made her iced coffee someone came in. turning around she saw a sleepy haechan standing in the doorframe.

she was confused since they still weren't on good terms, but she wasn't really too mad at him anymore.

"haechan? what are you doing up so early?"

"well we never really got the chance to talk and i woke up when you went out of the room"

"haechan what do you want from me"

"for us to be siblings again"

haewon made eye contact with him. he looked desperate. haewon and him used to be so close, he never wanted to go and leave her but their mom didn't leave him a choice.
haewon sighed.

"donghyuck i already told you it's not easy to forget what happened. you don't know what that did to me"

"but i never wanted this to happen. it's not like mom gave me a damn choice"

he was frustrated and mad. he lost her once, and definitely won't let that happen again. haewon had thought about this for a while now. she realized that they were young and it wasn't his fault in any way but their mother's. it hurt her, but she realized she shouldn't take it out on her brother. she also wanted her brother back with the bond they once had, it just wasn't easy.

"donghyuck-"

"no haewon, please. I lost you once please don't do this to me again. i'm so sorry for not looking for you or doing anything or being there for you please, just give me a chance"

haechan started to get teary eyes.

"god hyuck, i'm forgiving you"

haechan looked up in surprise.

"what?"

"you're forgiven. i realized it wasn't you but moms choice. i mean yes my life was hell, but it doesn't mean you had something to do with it"

haewon smiled at her brother's shocked state. haechan on the other side couldn't believe what he just heard.

"do you mean that? i-i mean...it's not a joke?"

"hyuck it was our mother not you i'm actually sorry i took my anger out on you"

haewon scratched my head in embarrassement not being really used to breaking the ice that fast. but she knew she needed to do that.
haechan was more happy than ever, running up to haewon hugging her.

"thank you"

suddenly he realized what he was doing and that he probably wasn't suppose to do that. immediately he backed off to which ahewon chuckled in response.

"just come here you idiot"

opening her arms with a slight smile. haechan beamed her a smile running back to her hugging his sister as tight as possible not wanting to let her go. they stayed like this for a minute until haewon pulled away.

"let's make some breakfast for the guys shall we? just please don't burn the kitchen down"

"pfff as if i can cook really good"

"yeah sure whatever, im not trusting you"

after a while they made enough pancakes for all eight of them setting the table for the guys to eat. in the meantime they waited both of them already sat down on the table, starting to eat and drink already, talking a bit catching up on each other since it has been way too long.

surprisingly, they got along as good as the time they were kids. it was like they never have been seperated. the smell of breakfast also woke up the others. haewon turned around looking into six sleepy confused faces.

"what?"

"you're sitting alone with haechan? let alone talk to him??"

"of course i do, he is my brother"

haewon rolled her eyes. still being oddly confused yet happy that the siblings reunited, the six boys sat down starting to munch on their food.

"how come you two talk to each other again?"

"well i think it was time i forgave him, not like he had anything to do with what happened, it was our moms fault, not hyuck's"

"so you call him hyuck?"

"yeah i've always done that when we were kids, not like i would change it now, if he don't like it it's not my problem"

"i never said that i don't"

"whatever, just eat"

haechan rolled his eyes, but continued eating his food. nevertheless he. started smiling, weeks ago he would have never thought he would actually get his sister back and being the siblings they once were. but here they were, all eight of them, sitting together eating breakfast and laughing together.

after breakfast the boys left concidering haewon had to talk to her dad about some things. mr min still wasn't too sure about his new recruits and was very sceptical. since haewon was their age he put his trust into her with them.

even though they were from a different gang who he actually trusted, he didn't trust the new six boys yet, not even his own son which he didn't even recognize yet. but, mr min akways had a strange feeling about haechan, he felt like he knew him and wanted to dig deeper into this.

as hard as everyone tried to hide the fact haechan was in fact his son, they didn't know for how long they could hold him of, and haewon knew she needed to think of something real quick, before this situation got out of hand.
