song: his daughter - Molly Kate Kestner
"to my husband and haewon,I'm sorry, I'm moving away and I took Haechan with me. This is not a life I want to live, you aren't the man I fell in love with.
you once were so loving and a perfect husband and father, but the last months you went overboard with hurting me to the point where I blacked out and was hurt. the children suffered enough under your violent behavior too.
I packed my things and we will never come back so don't try to find us. also i will cut all contact and will move far away into another city.
if you don't want the police to find out what kind of job you really do I suggest you to just stay away. Haechan will live a normal life from now on.
haewon I'm sorry I didn't took you with us, we needed to make it quick,
love, mom"
did they not love me enough to take me with them? am I really as worthless as dad told me? am I not good enough?
haewon's mind was full of questions. but the biggest one was why? did her mother just forget her? just like that? wasn't she as lovable as Haechan was? she didn't understand what she made wrong for her mother just to leaver her behind.
it's been two months already, and her dad was furious. he blamed haewon for her mother and Haechan, that it was all her fault that they left. everything she did was wrong, and her dad kept yelling at her making her do all of the house chores and cook for him.
but recently, he started hitting her, many scars were already visible on her body. red and blue marks went from her face to neck, arms, stomach, back and legs. not only her body was full of bruises, but also her heart. it hurt knowing that her mother and her brother left her behind without a single word.
It was her fault. she slowly started believing what her dad told her. she was worthless, a slut, nothing.
haewon would turn 11 in two weeks, but she knew she couldn't celebrate in any way since her dad would never allow her to do so, besides she lost all of the positive things in her life. she never smiled, it was always fake. she put on a mask everyday in school to not get asked "what happened to you?" or people treating her different.
so everyday was the same, waking up, covering her scars with make up, going to school, putting a mask on. no one seemed to notice. at home she cleaned, cooked, brought her dad things to work, did homework till late in the night.
she was exhausted, she really was. but what could she do? exactly, nothing.
*time skip 3 years later*
haewon was 14 now. nothing really changed. the only thing that was rather new was that her dad regularly had some sluts over and it tend to be pretty loud during night. but haewon was happy that he didn't try to rape her.
nothing changed, until that one night.
"haewon come here you fucking whore"
haewon immediately made her way to the living room seeing her dad on the couch. as soon as he saw her he got up. "put on your shoes make it quick" she didn't question it any further putting on her shoes following him into the car.
during the whole night haewon kept quiet. soon they came to the company her dad worked at. confused she followed her dad into the building.
"dad, what are we doing here?" she was scared. she didn't know what would happen nor the reason why she was here.
her dad lead her into the second building. it was behind the first one and they were connected. he opened the door leading her through some more hallways until they stopped by a door.
when he opened it, he signaled you to go inside, it was a room with a long table looking like it was for meetings. at the end sat a men. it was Chan. you were shocked seeing him there despite it being around 10pm and dark outside he sat on the end of the table his head on top of his hands leaning on the table.
"nice seeing you again haewon and of course you Mr. Min."
haewon looked at her dad, confusion written all over her face.
"haewon it's time that you know who me and Chan really are"
it was the first time in three years that he didn't cuss at you while talking to you which just made you even more confused but you sat down.
he told you everything about him being the boss of one of the most feared mafia's in the world and that he runs the company just to not get caught doing illegal business. also that Chan was his right hand. Chan had his own little mafia but after collaborating with her dad he decided that it would be better for both sides if he and his little gang would just join the B.W. as the gang was called. it meant black wolves, because they were like shadows, black and always there, but not someone payed attention to. wolves because it was their logo and because they were dangerous.
to prove their point haewon's dad took of his shirt turning around revealing a wolf tattoo on his right shoulder blade. the wolf was the logo of the gang. his tattoo showed a big black wolf with dark blue eyes. behind the wolf flames were seen as if he would be in the fire.
haewon was shocked hearing all of that. but this explained the violent behavior of her dad such as the many bruises she had seen on his body. but she couldn't believe that Chan was as ruthless as her dad. she knew him as the sweetheart, who cared about her. Chan often took his time to hang out with haewon knowing about his boss hurting her he often took her to play with her or treating her for ice cream.
he treated her like his little sister and joked around pretty often.
but when it came to business he became all serious, that made sense now. still, she couldn't believe it. it was too much to take in.
haewon snapped out of her thoughts when Mr. Min said something.
"We told you all that because you will join the mafia"
"w-wait what?"
