２．３ - ｆｒｅｎｅｍｉｅｓ

still completely lost in her own thoughts haewon went home with the rest of the dreamies including mark. yes, they managed to make the hangout today. haewon wasn't really pleased with it, especially because mark would be there too, but went along with it.

since they didn't live far away, they made a quick stop at the nct mansion, the boys leaving their stuff there and throwing on some comfy clothes, taking some things for the sleepover. shortly afterwards they finally made it to her house going into her room. haewon choose a comfy outfit that would cover up all her bruises.

she changed into some black leggins and an oversized baby blue hoodie. after she changed in the bathroom she came back into her room seeing all of them sitting on her bed looking at her. haewon was creeped out at the seven guys just looking at her.

"what the hell are you guys doing?"

"waiting for you what else"

"you guys creep me out sometimes"

they ended up going into the living room turning on the tv and watch some netflix before doing anything else. still tired of school everyone fell asleep making a nap. haewon being the first one to wake up after around half an hour. she got up going into the kitchen rubbing her eyes to wake up.

unbeknownst her, somebody followed her to the kitchen. haewon got herself a cup of water sighing running a hand trough her hair thinking how she would explain her father that she haven't did her daily run nor training yet.

"tired?"

haewon turned her head way too quickly into the direction the voice came from, making her groan in pain. mark was standing in front of her leaning against the counter.

"don't scare me like that, also what are you even doing here the rest is still sleeping"

"rude, maybe i also wanted something to drink"

"alright what do you want?"

"just some water"

haewon turned around grabbing another cup to fill it up with water. mark watching every single move. something about the way she moved made him feel some type of way, and he didn't know what it was.

"what's up with your arms?"

haewon froze at the comment. she turned around facing him.

"what do you mean?"

"i'm not as stupid as the others i see the way you can't use your arms properly due to pain"

haewon was silent for a second. he was the first ever person that even noticed something so small. after her childhood it wasn't necessary for her to tell her friends everything not wanting to worry them also not wanting their pity. she was used to being alone with her problems, so this was pretty new.

"what do you mean, i'm not injured in any way i don't know what you mean"

mark rolled his eyes going to haewon. out of instinct she took a step back now with her back on the counter. mark took her wrist looking her into the eyes, before slowly pulling up her sleeves revealing a small bandage on her arm. it was nothing really too serious anymore, but was definetely painful.

haewon didn't move, something about mark took her breath away, she didn't noticed how good he looked closed up, now being able to see his face properly. normally he had an angry or stoic face, now his features softened making him look even more handsome.

mark inspected her arm. trying his best not to hurt her in any way, when he tried to apply pressure, haewon flinched making him stop immediately, looking into her eyes to make sure it wasn't a lot of pain he caused.
after seeing her face not being in pain he sighed.

"i knew you were hiding something. look, maybe i acted like a completely asshole but if you ever need someone to talk to, just come to me, we aren't as different as you think we are"

with that mark let go of her arm and left the room. haewon was speechless. she never thouht mark could be so...nice? they might still not be the best buddies, but honestly, haewon was glad that they actually made a progress in their hate relationship.

maybe there was also something he hid from all of the members just like she did? haewon actually concidered taking up on his offer. ever since all of the stray kids members went on a mission a week ago she felt kinda lonely at home. the members should be back in maybe a week.

deep in thoughts haewon made her way back into the living room seeing all of the dreamies with sleepy faces, mark chilling on his phone.

" haewon what took you so long?"

"sorry i was thirsty i just drank some water"

haewon sat down on the couch next to chenle and jaemin putting on a movie they wanted to watch. they argued 15 minutes whether they wanted to watch frozen or avengers but finally settled on frozen. all of them were just enjoying the time they had together by watching the movie or talking.

i mean what's better than a movie day with your favourite people and snacks. they talked up until late night. until they all started falling asleep.
