１．８ - ｓｔａｒｔ

after the weekend all of you returned back to school. this time even mark was coming too. he was a grade above all of them but haewon knew that they would see him in every single break. wasn't really helping despite them not being on good terms at the moment.

haewon was sitting in her math class with jeno next to her. being completely tired she couldn't really focus on what the teacher said. the weekend was really stressful for her and all she wanted now was to rest.

all of the members were really tired. since jeno and jaemin already knew about everything and didn't really need to be around the dreamies during the weekend, they helped out with different things at the b.w. company.

tons of paper work, checking emails, research and different things needed to be done. they sat nearly the whole day in the office and hung out with the rest of the members during the night since taeyong wanted everyone to "bond as a group".

not haewon nor jaemin or jeno told taeyong what they did the whole day, knowing he wouldn't approve that they overworked themselves. haewon glanced at jeno, he had his head on top of his hand, eyes slowly closing, trying his best to stay awake.

haewon looked down, she was sorry for them, they only helped her so she didn't need to do all the work alone, but now they were exhausted. it is my fault that they are feeling like this.

jeno looked at her, his face softened at her frown. he knew she blamed herself for his tired state. but they decided to help with knowing how much it was, and he definitely would do it again.

as much as she hated seeing them like this, it was also the other way around. jaemin and him hated seeing her being so tired all the time. that was the least they could do. they were good friends after all.

class ended and the two made their way to the cafeteria.

"i'm sorry you shouldn't have helped me, you look so tired"

jeno looked at haewon. she was looking ahead. for others it might seemed like she didn't care, but if you looked close you could see guilt in her eyes.

"we wanted to help you don't worry about it too much"

he ruffled her hair giving her his eye smile. she rolled her eyes in response, nevertheless she still had a small smile on her face, it disappeared quickly, but it was there.

arriving at the cafeteria they both got their food before sitting down. shortly after the rest of the guys joined them. haewon waited for everyone to sit down before speaking up. she was told to tell the boys about today's events.

"okay, so today all of you need to come to the company of b.w.  we will discuss how we will continue to work with the file"

"already something new on the target?"

"how can you talk so casually about business in public?"

"geez jisung you don't need to be thAt discreet you can still talk normal you know, it's only about not talking about too private things"

"anyways we need all of you today"

"what if we don't go there"

mark. i swear i'm going to kill him someday.

"too bad that taeyong wants all seven of you to be there"

"who said you are saying the truth"

"well if you don't believe me, ask him"

mark scowled. he knew what she said was right, but he never took orders from anyone aside from members or important people. at least people he found important.

"okay so since we sorted that out we can finally get to the important things. we will combine training and meeting. jisung and chenle you will accompany taeil at hacking"

"we what??"

the both said in unison. confused and shocked faces.

"we want to see what you're capable of. today it's only the two of you while renjun and haechan will come to the meeting and watch. we can't look after four people at the same time"

"it would be too risky to do so"

jaemin added to her words.

- time skip -

everyone was gathered in the office. mr min was standing at the front.

"okay so the plan for tonight. we will send out haewon and mark since things will need to be done discreet. you will drive to the bar two miles from here, look like the others, just someone who wants to party the night away.
taeil you will watch them through the cameras while we will try to put chenle and jisung in to help you. of course you will only get some small tasks we just want to see your skills with the computer.
lastly seungmin and changbin, you will drive them there and wait in the car in case they need back up"

everyone agreed before heading out to drive to the min mansion. everyone but mark and some other members, who drove back to the nct mansion. haewon went up to her room to get ready, the dreamies trailing behind her.

arriving at her room jeno plopped down on her bed burying his face into the pillows. the rest sat down on the bed with jaemin on the chair next to her desk. jaemin turned around facing haewon who was standing in front of her closet.

"any idea of what to wear tonight?"

"no idea, something...sparky, maybe short. i want to blend in the rest of the crowd"

"let me try to find something"

this time it was renjun who spoke. haewon looked at him surprised, she didn't think renjun would do that considering they weren't really close.

"uh yeah sure"

renjun got up going to the closet rummaging through it. after a while he handed her some clothes and she immediately went into her bathroom without looking what he gave her.

"damn he has taste"

after putting on the clothes she went back to her room. opening the door their eyes widened.

"already forgot i have this, not bad renjun"

"looks good"

jeno tilted his head up and smirked at her before laying back down closing his eyes.

haewon looked into the mirror checking the outfit.

"i think i'm ready for tonight"
