*Ella's POV*
'everythings packed?' Wesley asks and i nod, biting my lip to mentally check off my list. 'Yes' i speak, squinting my eyes slightly. 'Are you sure? you've told me that three times now' he smirks and i chuckle, 'i promise, this time babe' i grin and he nods, grabbing both suitcases.
'I can take mine' i say but he shakes his head, 'doctor said, take it easy. So guess what you're doing..' he trails off and i huff, 'taking it easy' i mumble and he nods, pressing a kiss to my cheek before he begins to walk. 'exactly baby, now lets go check out, our cab is already waiting' he calls over his shoulder and i nod following him out of the door and towards the elevator.
'How do you think everyone is going to react?' i ask as we step into the elevator, Wes shrugs as he presses ground floor. 'Well, i'm hoping they'll be excited, but really, i'm not going to care if they're not because i am, and you are.. thats all that matter to me' he says and i smile, 'and we all know Bear will be happy to have a younger sibling, especially when they're old enough to play with him' he adds and i laugh, nodding in agreement.
'I can't believe we're having a baby' i whisper and he nods as the doors open. 'Neither can i' he smiles before we head out to the front desk. Checking out is quick thank god.
My hand stays wrapped around Wesley's bicep as we walk out, only letting go when he has to open the boot and put the bags in. 'Get in, baby' he smirks and i nod, walking around and sliding into the backseat where soon enough, Wesley joins me.
The driver begins to drive, already knowing we were going to the airport from when Wesley had rang for the taxi to pick us up. I held onto Wesley's hand as i looked out the window, savoring the last of Paris because i probably wont be back for years, or if ever.
'Don't worry, we'll come back as soon as we can' Wesley mumbles into my ear, almost like he had seen what i was thinking. I smile as i turn to him, pressing my lips to his and earning a smile from him.
.
'Home sweet home' Wesley breaths out, sitting out bags down through the door and i smile, closing the door behind us, being met with the sound of a wailing puppy as soon as the door is closed.
'I'll go get him' Wes says and i nod, heading into the kitchen as he goes to collect the dog. I flick the jug on and grab to cups, placing them down and popping a tea bag into each.
'Ok, bud, you have to calm down ok, because you have to be gentle with mummy' Wes breaths and i turn to see him holding bear by the collar at the door frame. I crouch down and smile as he lets bear go, and to my surprise he seems to be gentle.
He doesn't jump on me, instead he sits between my legs as i cuddle him, 'Its like he knows' Wesley says, staring in amazement. 'dogs can sense, can't they baby boy!' i exclaim and the dog wags his tail, licking my cheek and i giggle softly, scratching his back before standing up.
'Hey, i'll make these, didn't you need to pee?' Wes asks and i smile, nodding my head. 'I did, and i almost forgot, but now that you reminded me i do' i laugh before heading out and up to the bathroom, quickly doing my business and washing my hands before heading back down to find Wes in the living room with our teas.
'Thankyou my amazing husband' i say as i sit down, taking my tea from his hand. 'Anything for my beautiful wife' he winks, quickly pressing a kiss to my lips before we slowly sip our tea, cuddled up on the lounge.
'We need to unpack..' i trail off and Wesley sighs, 'How about we relax for tonight, seen as its almost 5 now, we we'll get up in the morning and do it?' he asks and i nod, not really feeling up to unpacking after our flight anyway.
