I reached home after 10 minutes and knocked  the door

mom opened it and said  told me to come inside 

"mom why did you call me is it something important" I asked being curious

mom never called me heck she never even bothered to talk to me unless it was something important and the last time she called was four years ago 

"yea it is" mom said

I sat on the sofa while she was already sitting

"um so I know you said you will finish your bachelor's here but for master's it's going to be better if you go abroad and I think we might have to move out because both me and your dad have a big chance to get promoted" mom said 

I just don't want to move now and you just decided atleast you asked my permission this time 

"I don't want to move out mom korea is better for me" I said 

I don't want to leave this place now I just want to stay here 

"but there are better opportunities abroad why do you don't want to go there"

"I have everything here I don't want to leave it"

"hmm you never you were never like this I don't mean to hurt you but you yourself said that you never had friends and you weren't in a relationship"

um everything changed within a few months 

"oh yeah about that the thing is that I am in a relationship now sorry" I said

"why are you sorry jen it's okay now tell me who are you with" mom said smiled warmly                                          

"you were right mom I am in a relationship with renjun and jaemin" I said and my ears turned red 

"I am always right" she said and laughed and I laughed with her 

"but jen I am really happy for you but it's better if you focus more on your academics than your lovelife"

"what do you even mean by that" I asked 

"I meant that it's okay that you are in a relationship but don't make it your first priority make you getting a job is more important"

"mom I know you are worried but I have found a better college for masters here and also for jobs you don't have to worry about it" I said 

"you have thought everything without me I thought you have to discuss with me" 

you were never here in the first place to do a discussion about it 

"didn't want to bother you" I said and smiled 

"okay that is good and when are you letting me meet your boyfriends" mom said 

"whenever you are free" 

"okay call them next week I will take a day off"

what day off? you never had a day off for me even when I almost begged you to have one why now and it's not even that you want to have some time with me only but to meet my boyfriends, jeno why are you being so selfish

"oh okay sure wait let me tell them now" I said
