Alarms were ringing the next morning as soon as Kymber walked into the station. Her and Bobby decided that it was better if he dropped her off down the street to make it look like she walked to work instead of riding with him again. "Just in time, Kymber. We have a traffic accident we need to get to." Hen said, running down the stairs and over to the cubby containing her uniform coat.

"Wait, really? My first call?" Kymber asked excitedly.

"Yes, now get your coat and helmet and come on!" Chimney directed as he swung his coat over his shoulder, holding his helmet in his hand.

"I have a coat and a helmet?" Kymber asked.

"Who else did you think Douglass was?" Bobby asked as he pointed to a cubby with her name on it.

"Fair point." Kymber said as she ran up to the cubby and grabbed her things.

"Let's go, Kymber." Hen called from the driver's seat of the ambulance, "You get the seat in the back."

"Got it." Kymber ran over to the ambulance and got into the back. She sat in her backwards seat and buckled herself in. As soon as she heard the buckle click, Hen drove off to the scene.

"So, still feeling awkward around Bobby?" Chimney asked as he looked through the little window.

"Yeah." Kymber said, thankful that she wasn't facing him because her face turned bright red and a smile appeared out of nowhere.

"You're going to have to face it at some point, Kymber. He's your captain now." Hen said, looking in the mirror.

"I know... It feels like having a crush on a teacher or something. I know I can't have it, but I want it, you know?" Kymber looked over her shoulder.

"You've had a crush on a teacher?" Chimney turned around quickly to look at her.

"You haven't?" Hen smirked at him.

"No! Isn't that weird?" Chimney asked.

"Not at all." Hen laughed, "And don't worry Kymber. It will pass eventually. I think you're just fixated on him because he's the first guy you met in LA. You'll meet someone else."

"I wouldn't be so sure of that..." Kymber whispered.

"What was that?" Chimney turned around again.

"Nothing! It was nothing." Kymber said, embarrassed.

"No, you said you wouldn't be so sure of that." Hen said looking at her through the mirror, "Why is that?"

"I don't know..." Kymber looked down.

"You aren't in love with him, are you?" Hen asked as they came to a stop.

"What?! No. No... I'm not in love with Bobby." Kymber shook her head, "At least, I don't think I am."

"She definitely has some puppy love for cap." Chimney smirked.

"So what if I do?" Kymber asked.

"Don't tell him that we told you this, but he definitely does too. I mean, have you seen the way he looks at you?" Hen said.

"Well... No." Kymber looked at Hen's reflection in the mirror.

"He watches you very carefully. He's never watched any of us like that... It's almost like he's analyzing your every move." Chimney said.

"Is that so?" Kymber began to blush again. She turned away to try to hide it, but it was too late, Hen had already seen in the mirror.

"Man, you really do like him. I can see it in your face." Hen chuckled, "That's not a bad thing though... Maybe cap could talk to the fire chief or something."

"Yeah, but who knows, he might have her moved to a different station, and we don't want that." Chimney said.

"That's true." Hen sighed.

"Guys! We haven't even talked about it yet." Kymber lied, "Who knows if we are even on the same page?"

"Oh, we have been observing you the past three days. It's pretty evident that you are on the same page." Hen smirked.

"I don't want to move though... With me still being new, it wouldn't be hard for the fire chief to move me. Maybe if I had been here longer I would do something about it, but right now, I want to stay where I am at." Kymber said.

"Fair enough." Chimney said, "We don't want you to go anywhere, either. We like having you around... Other than the awkward sexual tension, but we do like having you around."

"There's sexual tension?" Kymber's eyes grew wide.

"Hell yeah there is. We can tell that you both want to get each other into bed." Hen laughed.
