"So you really think that Bobby is going to go all out on a promposal for the firefighter's ball?" Athena asked the next day as she looked through the racks full of dresses. Athena, Karen, and Maddie all went with Kymber and Hen dress shopping. Hen and Bobby set Athena up with Tommy Kinard from Station 217, a former firefighter at the 118.
"I don't know." Kymber laughed as she shook her head.
"He better." Hen smirked, "I'll even help him set the whole thing up."
"Just like you set up Tommy and me?" Athena smiled.
"Yeah... Just like that." Hen rolled her eyes.
"Ooh! Kymber! Look at this one!" Karen said as she pulled a beautiful lavender colored dress off of the rack, "This would look beautiful on you."
"You think so?" Kymber looked over.
"It definitely would!" Maddie said as she walked over to Karen and ran her fingers down the dress, "It's the perfect color for you... And it's even your size!"
"I'll try it on then." Kymber smiled, as she grabbed the dress from them, "But I will wait until we all find one to try on. We can have a little fashion show."
"I found mine." Athena's eyes lit up as she pulled a black one-shoulder dress off of the rack, "Let's see what Kinard thinks of this!"
"Oh my god." Hen laughed.
"Maddie! Look at this one!" Kymber said holding out a fiery red dress.
"You don't think the red is too much?" Maddie blushed as she looked at the dress, "It is beautiful."
"It's perfect. Chimney will love it." Hen said.
"Alright then." Maddie smiled.
"Now just you and Karen are left!" Kymber said.
"Oh, I've found ours." Karen smirked.
"Have you now?" Hen laughed as she walked over.
"We've got to wear the same color! These two match perfectly, but the styles are totally different." Karen said as she held up two beautiful jade green dresses.
"I'm fine with that." Hen smiled.
"Yay! Time to try them on!" Kymber said excitedly as she ran over to the fitting room.
"Somebody's excited." Athena glanced at Hen.
"Well, weren't you the first time you went to a dance with a guy you liked?" Maddie asked.
"I guess you're right." Athena chuckled.
"Need any help, Kymber?" Karen asked.
"No. I'm alright." Kymber called from behind the door, "I'm almost done."
"She's like a kid in a candy shop." Maddie whispered.
"Yeah she is..." Athena smiled.
"What do you think?" Kymber asked as she stepped out of the fitting room in the tight, floor length, lavender dress.

"You look good." Bobby smiled.
"I feel like a lawyer." Eddie said as the tailor stepped back. He stared at himself in the mirror.
"It actually makes you look pretty hot." Buck smirked.
"Yeah? Well then you're next pretty boy." Eddie looked at him.
"Come on guys. It's not that bad." Bobby said. He was also in his uniform, waiting to see if it needed any alterations.
"I think I need shorter pants..." Chimney sighed as he walked out of the fitting room, the pants were bunched up at his ankles.
"That's what you get for being short." Buck laughed.
"Yes, because I definitely chose my height." Chimney rolled his eyes.
"Here, try these." the tailor said, handing Chimney a different pair of pants.
"Thanks." Chimney grabbed the pants from him and walked back into the dressing room.
"I can't believe we have to wear these to the ball." Buck sighed.
"It's the firefighter's ball, Buck, and you're a firefighter. You have to." Bobby chuckled, "You should be proud to wear one of these uniforms. It takes a lot to become an LA firefighter, and this is a good representation of that hard work."
"Aren't our regular uniforms representation enough?" Buck asked.
"You really want to wear that to a dance?" Eddie laughed.
"I guess that's true." Buck said as the tailor handed him a uniform to try on.
"Here, try these on too." the tailor handed both Buck and Eddie blue hats.
"Wait, why does Bobby get a white hat and we get blue ones?" Buck looked down at the hat in his hand.
"Because I'm the captain?" Bobby looked at Buck.
"Much better." Chimney said as he walked back out of the fitting room.
"Maddie will be very impressed with you, Chim." Bobby smiled.
