"Karen!" Chimney said, running through the main entrance of the hospital.
"Chimney. Thank god you're here... They're bringing her out of her coma." Karen gave Chimney a hug as Bobby, Kymber, Buck, Eddie, and Athena came in.
"Where are Denny and Nia?" Athena asked, looking around.
"They went to the playroom down the hall." Karen nodded her head in their direction.
"When did they start reducing the medicine?" Buck asked.
"About an hour ago. She should be awake soon... I just didn't want to wait alone. That's why I called Chimney." Karen said.
"We totally understand." Bobby said, hugging Karen from the side.
"Can someone go sit with Denny and Nia?" Karen looked around, "I didn't want them going down there alone, but I also didn't want the doctors to have to search for me."
"I'll go." Kymber smiled and started down the hall.
"I'll go, too." Athena followed after Kymber.
"Thank you so much." Karen looked at them.
"Let's go get you some water, alright?" Bobby placed his hand on her shoulder and walked her down the hall to a vending machine.
"How have you been?" Athena asked as she sat down in one of the tiny kids' chairs in the playroom.
"I've been... Alright." Kymber chuckled as she sat down on the floor with Nia.
"Just alright? What's going on?" Athena looked at her.
"It's just everything with Hen." Kymber shook her head, "It's been hard."
"Are you sure that's it?" Athena said as Denny walked over to the table with a toy fire truck and handed it to her, "Thanks, buddy."
"You're welcome, Mrs. Grant!" Denny said excitedly.
"Ms. Carter." Athena smiled.
"I'm sorry. Mommy told me that you're Mrs. Grant." Denny looked down.
"I was Mrs. Grant. But now I am Ms. Carter." Athena said.
"Oh! Ok!" Denny said before running back to the toy box.
"He's so cute." Kymber said quietly.
"They both are." Athena smiled, "Now, are you sure that the only thing bothering you is Hen?"
"Yeah... Yeah... That's it." Kymber looked down and started fidgeting with a toy car.
"Kymber... I can tell that you're lying." Athena smirked, "Tell me what is really going on."
"Alright... But you have to promise not to tell anyone." Kymber looked at her with a straight face.
"Is everything ok? Did something happen?" Athena started to get worried.
"Something definitely happened... It's not a bad thing... But, it's big." Kymber looked down.
"What is it?" Athena asked.
"I'm pregnant." Kymber whispered trying to keep Denny and Nia from hearing her.
"You're pregnant?!" Athena looked at her in shock, Kymber just nodded her head, "Kymber, that's great! How does Bobby feel about it?"
"He's really excited to be a dad again." Kymber smiled.
"Baby!" Nia squealed as she poked Kymber's stomach.
"Yes! Baby! But shh. Don't tell your mommas, ok?" Kymber put her finger over her lips.
"Don't tell mommas." Nia smiled.
"Good!" Kymber watched as Nia ran over to the toy box and pulled out a baby doll. She brought it back over and handed it to Kymber.
"Baby." Nia said.
"Does baby have a name?" Athena smirked at Nia.
"Yellow." Nia said before running off again.
"Alright, there you go. You have a name for your baby, courtesy of Nia. Yellow." Athena laughed.
"I'm not too sure about that." Kymber chuckled.
"So Bobby is excited about the baby... What about you?" Athena asked.
"I am... But I'm also really scared and nervous. What if I'm not good enough to be a mom? I know Bobby will be a good dad because he's already gone through it... I just don't know if I know how to do it." Kymber sighed.
"Kymber, no one is ready to be a parent for the first time." Athena placed her hand on Kymber's shoulder, "I was nowhere near ready when May was born, but look at how she turned out."
"That is true... I guess the reason that I am so scared is because most people already have kids before they are my age... I don't want to put my baby at risk because of my age." Kymber said.
"You will be fine. Bobby knows how to take care of you. He won't let anything happen to you, or that baby." Athena said.
"I know." Kymber looked up at Athena.
"Why do you not want anyone else to know?" Athena asked.
"I just don't want them to treat me like I can't be a good firefighter or paramedic... But I guess I might as well tell them, because Bobby already is treating me like I'm less of a firefighter." Kymber rolled her eyes.
"What did he do?" Athena looked at her.
"He wouldn't let me get in a harness to do the maneuver." Kymber said.
"Probably a good choice." Athena chuckled, "The harness would've put a lot of pressure on the baby."
"Yeah... I just don't want to stop working because I'm going to be a mom, you know? I want to keep working even after the baby is born." Kymber looked around, "Like Hen does."
"You and Bobby will figure out a way to do that. No one says that you have to quit your job once the baby is born." Athena said.
