"So... Are we going to talk about it?" Bobby looked over at Kymber who was staring out the car window. After getting her checked out, they went back and waited for news with everyone else. Finally, after four hours the doctors had come out and told them that Hen had to be put in a medically induced coma because of the amount swelling in her brain. Upon getting the news, they all decided it was time to go home and get some sleep.

"What is there to talk about?" Kymber mumbled.

"You know exactly what there is to talk about, Kymberly." Bobby sighed, reaching his hand over to hers.

"I don't want to talk about it right now." Kymber placed her chin in her hand.

"Are you mad about it?" Bobby glanced over at her.

"I don't know what I feel to be honest. I want to be happy, but I also want to be mad, and also scared. But I don't. I just feel numb." Kymber looked down.

"Kymber, it's ok to be scared. It's ok to be happy. Hell, it's even ok to be mad... But you have to accept the fact that it's happening." Bobby squeezed her hand.

"But we wanted to wait." Kymber turned towards him.

"We did... But apparently God had other plans." Bobby chuckled, "Besides, like you said before. We aren't getting any younger. If we wanted it to happen, it needed to be soon... And well, it's soon!"

"Bobby, what if I'm not ready to be a mom?" Kymber looked at him, with tears welling in her eyes.

"What makes you think that?" Bobby said as he pulled up to a red light. He let go of the steering wheel and grabbed both of her hands in his.

"I guess I'm just second guessing everything now that it's really happening." Kymber sighed.

"That's totally normal. How do you think I felt when Brook was born? I was only twenty-two. I sure as hell wasn't ready to be a father, but I did it. I believe in you. You're going to be a great mother to our baby." Bobby stared into her eyes, before putting his hands back on the wheel and driving into the apartment building parking lot.

"You're right. If people younger than me can do it, I definitely can." Kymber said.

"So how are you feeling now?" Bobby asked as he parked the car.

"Still scared... But a little happier now." Kymber smiled.

"Good. Because I'm happy too." Bobby kissed the top of her head.

"Can we just... Can we just keep this to ourselves for a little while?" Kymber asked after she had gotten out of the car, "I mean, I'll tell my mom and dad... But at the station... Can we wait on telling everyone?"

"You want to keep another secret from them?" Bobby laughed, "Are you sure?"

"I just don't want them treating me like I can't do things because I'm pregnant." Kymber said.

"But you do understand that I will do that, right?" Bobby looked at her.

"Well, yeah. Of course you will, it's your baby... But what I'm trying to say is, I don't want Hen and Chimney treating me like I'm any less of a paramedic." Kymber said, walking towards the apartment door with Bobby.

"You know they wouldn't do that to you." Bobby said as he held open the door for her.

"You don't know that." Kymber looked at him, "It's not like you've had another pregnant firefighter or paramedic work for you before."

"That is fair... Alright, fine. We can wait a little while to tell them. Just know, I will be making sure you don't do anything that could put you or our baby in danger." Bobby said, walking up the stairs.

"I know." Kymber smirked, "So you're really that excited about being a dad again?"

"Of course I am. I love kids. I can't wait to raise our baby with you." Bobby stopped at the landing and gave her a hug.

"I'm excited to raise our baby with you, too." Kymber smiled as Bobby kissed her.

"I love you so much, Kymberly Amelia." Bobby said, holding her tight.

"I love you more, Robert Wade." Kymber kissed his cheek.
