"Knock knock!" Eddie said as he quietly opened the door to Kymber's hospital room. Bobby and Kymber were cuddled together in the bed holding two tiny little babies in their laps. Hen and Chimney were sitting off to the side of the room.
"Hey! Eddie! Buck! Come on in." Bobby whispered.
"How are you feeling?" Buck asked as he walked in carrying two big balloons, one pink and one blue.
"I'm feeling tired... But our babies are here." Kymber smiled.
"You did a wonderful job, sweetheart." Bobby kissed her forehead and she curled up into his chest.
"They're so cute!" Eddie walked over and looked at the babies, "Do they have names yet?"
"That they do..." Kymber smiled as she looked around.
"You haven't told us yet!" Chimney pouted.
"We wanted to tell you all together." Bobby smirked as he picked up the little baby boy, wrapped in his blue blanket and hugged him close to his chest, "Do you want to tell them or should I?"
"You can." Kymber smiled down at the little baby girl in her lap.
"Tell us, cap!" Hen sat up eagerly.
"Well, this here is Kayden Wade Nash. And his sister over there is Kendall Wren Nash." Bobby looked down at the babies.
"They're perfect. The names fit so well." Buck said as he set the balloons down next to the TV, "Can I hold one?"
"Of course. Just wash your hands first." Kymber pointed to the sink. Buck turned around and washed his hands.
"Hey, Buck..." Bobby said quietly.
"Yeah, cap?" Buck looked over his shoulder at Bobby.
"What's that stuck to the back of your pants?" Bobby set Kayden down on his lap and crossed his arms.
"What do you mean?" Buck looked confused and brushed his hand along the back of his pant leg. His fingers ran across a piece of metal that he plucked off to look at.
"What is it?" Chimney asked.
"Uhhh... Well..." Buck said awkwardly as he looked down at the name tag in his hand that read 'Nash' across it.
"Did you touch my desk?!" Bobby sat up.
"Uhhh... No?" Eddie lied.
"Oh my god. They totally did it on cap's desk!" Hen laughed.
"I can explain." Buck tried to interject, but it was too late. The room had already filled with laughter, a disdained look on Bobby's face.
"The one thing I ask you not to do, and you do it while my fiancée is giving birth?!" Bobby rolled his eyes.
"Well... We just figured since we had the station to ourselves... We might as well enjoy it." Buck chuckled nervously.
"It won't ever happen again, cap. I promise!" Eddie said.
"Whatever... You two have to go clean it now. And I mean the whole office." Bobby said as he picked Kayden back up and handed him to Buck.
"I promise. It will be spotless." Eddie said.
"Hi buddy! I'm Uncle Buck! I'm going to be your best friend in the whole wide world!" Buck said quietly as he rocked the baby back and forth.
"Is that so?" Kymber smirked as she watched how happy Buck was to have the baby in his arms.
"It is! We're a family at the 118, so that means your babies are family too. Which makes me Uncle Buck!" Buck smiled.
"How does that make you Uncle Buck?" Chimney asked confused.
"You can all be aunts and uncles." Bobby laughed as he watched the confusion, "These babies are going to be so so loved by each and every one of you."
"That is very true... May I hold Kendall?" Eddie asked as he walked over to Kymber.
"You may. But, same as with Buck, you have to wash your hands." Kymber said.
"On it." Eddie said as he walked over to the sink and scrubbed his hands.
"Thank you all for being here for us... It really means a lot." Bobby smiled as Eddie walked back over to Kymber and she placed Kendall in his arms.
"Of course, cap. We wouldn't miss it for the world." Hen smirked, "It made it even better that Chim and I got to be there for the delivery."
