Your body was on absolute and complete fire, probably due to not only the overwhelming waves of pain your body was in as a result of the incredible amount of cuts, bruises, and broken bones your body had, but also a result of the adrenaline and shock going through your body at that moment. It was like everything was numb, yet also amplified ten fold.

Here he was, once again, dying in your arms and barely breathing as the blazing sun made him squint to be able look into your stunning e/c eyes, god how they never seized to amaze him. He was content with being able to protect you at the last moment, and didn't regret dying in your place.

What he didn't know was that you have witnessed this one way or another 28 other times. You thought you would have grown numb to witnessing his final moments several different times, but your undying and pure love for him always overwhelmed the events' torturously constant recurrence.

"No.. please I- I can't-... YOU CAN'T!! WHY ARE YOU ALWAYS PROTECTING ME LIKE THIS!?! Why can't you think of yourself FOR ONCE!??!"

It's true, every time you time traveled back to the beginning to change the future, he always seemed to get himself killed at this moment. Whether it be through self sacrifice or never waking up from his coma, he always somehow died one way or another in front of you. However, there were other times where he wasn't so innocent and kind towards you. Those times were the ones that haunted you the most. You never blamed him for those times, but it still didn't stop from giving you nightmares, knowing what he's capable of if he were to hate you instead.

"Please don't cry, it breaks my heart seeing you cry like that." He weakly smiled, wiping away your tears with his thumb from your cheek. "You're worth all of this, if it means you get to see tomorrow."

"What's the point of seeing tomorrow if you aren't there with me?! What do you think.. HOW DO YOU THINK I FEEL SEEING YOU BLEED OUT LIKE THIS AGAIN?!"

He timidly stares at you, puzzled by your words. "Again?" Shit. You've never told this timeline of him what you've been doing, what you've been traumatizing yourself to just to avoid what is happening right now.

You collapse, sobbing in his bleeding chest. Contemplating if you should do this all over again. You hated having to introduce yourself again, make friends again, see those friends get hurt again. However when you stare back into his now dulled emerald eyes, you knew this wasn't the fate he deserved.

"Don't.... worry about that. I promise I'll save you from this fate, I gave you my word every time. I won't fall back on it now." He's confused on what you're talking about. Save him? From what fate? What promise? He doesn't remember any of that happening this past year you knew each other.

You shakily give him a small smile, filled with fear and determination, yet exhaustion. What were you planning on doing? "Y/N I-" your body begins to glow a soft gold color, and your h/c hair flows with the quirk surging throughout your entire body. "Wha- what's going-" he coughs up blood on your hero costume.

"Shh, Izuku. Enough, all your pain will be over soon. You will no longer suffer and sacrifice yourself for me, for our friends, for this whole damn society." He begins to slip into unconsciousness before looking at you with concern. "Y/N, Wait! What are going to do?" He knows one of your quirks gives you the ability to heal others in turn of burdening yourself with the injuries you healed if grave enough, and he was dying, so his injuries would definitely kill you.

Before he could protest he began to cry in pain, the sharp tendrils shigaraki pierced through him as well as his multiple broken bones and fatigue made his vision hazed. He was at his final breaths, and it shattered your already broken and damaged heart seeing him die for a society and for people that cared so little in return. What you fail to keep remembering is that he pushed you out of the way because he can't imagine your places being switched. He wouldn't be able to stomach it.

"I love you Izuku, more than anything in this universe, I promise to save you... this time." You begin to glow brighter, almost swallowing the area around you in your light as you begin to imagine the time period you want to travel to. As you kiss his bloodied cheek with your own bruised and battered lip, you whisper "I'll see you later", and the world around you two was beginning to disappear.

"Y..y/n.. y..n.." you hear him painfully croak out. As you almost arrive at your desired time period, your mind can't help but engrave this dying Izuku in your mind no matter how hard you want to forget it. You've seen it happen time and time again, yet even though you should be used to that image, it always seems to utterly destroy you every damn time.

"I love you." Was the last words you said before you time traveled back to the beginning of the year. For the 29th time. You have tried to save your friends, Izuku, and almost all of Japan 28 times. Your mind, your heart, your soul couldn't take another round of this, but for the friends you care for oh so much, for the man that you have completely fallen for, what choice did you have?

"This time, I will save you, all of you.. even if it costs me my very sanity. I will make sure you guys get to see tomorrow."

Hey everyone! Thank you so much for taking the time to read my new book "Tomorrow". I have been thinking about this book and it's content for a while, and I'm so excited to show you what's in store.

This chapter's main purpose was to set the tone and atmosphere for both my writing style and the story itself , give you a sneak peek on what's to come.

I will most likely add music for important and pivotal chapters to add some emotion and intensity to them, but they are 100% optional. I just personally love a quality instrumental piece that brings the chapter all together
