All Might POV
"A phone call is here! A phone call is here!"
All Might's phone began to ring loudly from his bag, as he frantically moved his things to scavenge for it.
"That can't seriously be his ringtone." Aizawa groaned, while Present Mic tried his best holding in his laughter. All Might ignored his two coworkers and held the phone to his ear, as the number was unknown.
"Yes? Who is this?" He asked.
"You could'a warned me about Izuku Midoriya! I know it probably couldn't have been helped. But thanks to him, I'm getting a pay cut, AND my teaching license is getting suspended for six whole months!" Gran Torino yelled, resulting in All Might to immediately get up from his chair in a panic, afraid of disappointing his own teacher as well.
"H-HI SIR!" All Might yelped, as blood spurted from his mouth, he crossed his fingers in hopes he wouldn't get punished by him.
"His tendency to jump into situations without thinking is just like yours Toshinori!"
All Might began to sweat profusely, hiding his mouth from the blood dripping down his chin.
"I- I'm so sorry sir, it's because of my insufficient teaching. I can't believe my protege caused you so much trouble."
Oh this is bad, this is bad, this is very very bad.. All Might mumbled to himself, while quietly excusing himself from the UA staff room to talk to his mentor in private.
"Well, I don't care about that damn teaching license anyway, I only got it because of you. I only did that as a promise to your predecessor Shimura." Gran Torino said in a lower tone.
"And I truly appreciate all you did for me, it's only because of your wisdom and guidance that I became the number one hero I am today!" All Might stated, which was true. It was all thanks to Gran Torino during All Might's time in UA that he was the capable, strong, and beloved symbol of peace he was for all these years.
"If that's true then why don't you ever visit me?" Gran Torino snickers, knowing that will shake his old student.
"W-well it's just that my new life as a teacher has kept me so busy."
Gran Torino laughed some more on the phone, while All Might lowered his head in embarrassment, he felt ashamed for not meeting up with his mentor as much as he used to. He mentally noted to try and find time to meet up with him soon.
"I actually called to talk about the hero killer. I saw him only briefly in person, but I could tell his will was strong, to the point that it shook me to my very core." Gran Torino's eyes furrowed, reminiscing on his momentary interaction with the villain, he stared at the elderly hero with such horrifying conviction. He couldn't imagine how Izuku or you were able to face such a foe.
Gran Torino wasn't your biggest fan, but he was nevertheless impressed.
"There is so much hatred inside that man." He finished.
"I can't believe he was able to frighten someone like you, Gran Torino. He must have already been tied up, so what scared you?" All Might asked, locking himself in a private room to talk in private.
"It probably stemmed from his fanatic ideology, there was something very intimidating about his obsession. I'm not trying to praise him or anything, but he's got the same determination as you when it comes to your 'Symbol of Peace' thing. They're similar."
All Might thought about what Gran Torino was saying, knowing that he knew the number one hero better than anyone, it must be true.
"What do you mean by similar?" He asked, intrigued by his answer to the question.
