It was finally the morning of practical exams. You slept fairly well, as in no visitors from the vestige world, as well as no nightmares that were relatively new to dwell on.

You have already taken your written exams, and have been awaiting your results. However, whether you pass or not entirely depends on how you'll do in your practical.

And you had no intentions of failing.

You woke up invigorated, determined to end these finals on the right foot. You were going to pass, and further grow into the strong hero your friends will need. With the summer camp ever inching closer, you only grew increasingly nervous as the weeks turned into days before you faced the League once more.

This time, you would stop them, no matter what.

You got dressed, did your daily routine, and began to go downstairs to feed yourself before going off to school. However, you were surprised to see All Might in the dining room, greeting you with a fatherly smile.

"Oh, good morning Y/N. Did you sleep well?" All Might asks, a bowl of fresh fruit and tea awaiting you at the opposite end of the dining table.

"I slept... fine, thanks. Why are you here?" you ask apprehensively, beginning to eat the fruit All Might had cut for you.

They were obviously sliced with an amatuer hand, each piece of the strawberries and pineapples were all different from each other. You also noticed the bandaids that wrapped around All Might's left fingers, and you stifled a laugh.

How cute is that? The symbol of piece could barely stand a chance against cutting his own fruit, we all have our weaknesses I suppose.

"What, sad to see me?" All Might jokes, you simply shake your head.

"N-no! It's just that you're usually on a mission or doing some hero business, it's rare to see you in the morning nowadays." You explain.

I'm pretty sure he cleared up his schedule for today's practical exam, and wanted to give me a little pep talk before finals. Which is actually pretty kind of him.

"Oh, right. Good point." All Mights says with a sheepish grin. "Well my schedule freed up because of your guys' practicals being today, and I'm needed since I am one of the teachers after all."

You look at him apathetically as you respond. "You? Our teacher? I had no idea."

There was an awkward silence for a moment, as All Might wasn't prepared for your sarcasm.

"Hah..." He laughed sheepishly, watching as you finished your bowl of fruit. "Are you nervous at all?"

You look up at him, as you finish chewing to answer him.

"A little, but I've trained hard. By myself and with my friends, I think I'm ready for whatever Mr. Aizawa and you throw at me."

You look at All Might with your intense e/c gaze. "I'll pass no matter what, if it'll get me closer to my goal of becoming a pro hero, then I'll use all my strength to win."

And passing will get me closer to saving my friends from dying in front of me... again.

All Might noticed that slight shift in your undertone, it was as if you weren't particularly lying, but that what you were saying wasn't the full truth.

He's been noticing your mysterious behavior ever since you arrived, and every time he tried to go about discussing it with you, you always seemed to avoid the conversation. Always wiggling your way out of talking to him.

It was as if you knew he was trying to talk to you, really talk, therefore purposely ignoring his attempts in getting to know you above surface level trust.
