- Chapter 1 -

The light that was once emitting from you has long been diminished and was overwhelmed with darkness...

Until you heard an oh so familiar ring of your phone alarm, signaling to you that not only have you successfully traveled back in time, but that now you have to start everything over. The world has gone backwards, everything and everyone has repressed back to the beginning of the school year, however your mind and your body do not repress back.

The scars you gain, the experience you acquire, and the trauma that resonates within you does not go away, your body keeps all the damage you have been through. Every time you relive the year the memories of all the pasts you've been through do not revert, which was nice, you guess. It was handy to remember all the ways things had gone wrong, and you could evolve and update your plans every time.

"Ugh, here comes the annual post time travel headache, I will never get used to that I swear."

You groggily mumble to yourself, trying to stop the very annoying alarm that was going off. Even though you knew what time it was at the moment, you out of habit checked your phone,

6:00 am, early April.

You tiredly rubbed your eyes hoping that would wake you up more before the ruckus that was about to begin in 5 seconds.

"Let's see, he's going to barge in my room in 3.... 2.....1."

As you say the last number, your temporary guardian All Might, as if on schedule, came bursting through your door in hopes of both waking you up and getting you pumped for the day ahead. Unbenounced to him, you've seen him burst through your door 28 separate times. It was fun the first few times, then it got extremely annoying, and now you're just numb to it, no longer feeling any emotion towards his advances to amp you up for your "first" day of school in Japan.

You're a transfer student from the United States, and your family were great friends with the Shields, who were a family of incredible engineers. David Shield specifically was All mights sidekick during his time in the United States, and made millions via inventing new and impressive support items. He absolutely loved and adored you, he knew ever since you were a little toddler, and he was the main reason why All Might agreed to be your guardian while you attended high school in Musutafu.

Your number one best friend, supporter, and the only one who knows about your time traveling endeavors is none other than Melissa Shield. She's basically like an older sister figure to you, her courage and perseverance to fulfill her goals inspired you all the time as a child. She adores you and wants nothing more than to protect you from harm since she knows how harsh your past and your life was.

Which reminded you... you had to let her know that you have yet again failed at protecting your friends from death... you had watched your friends die and hero society collapse once again.

"So, young Kirigaya, are ready for your first day at U.A high school? You missed the first three days but don't worry too much about it! I am aware of your nerves about meeting brand new students but I promise to make you feel at home!"

He basically shouted in your ear, and his voice boomed throughout your room when he's in his muscle form. As much as you appreciated his attempt at giving you enthusiasm and reassurance, your anxieties towards your "new" classmates were long gone after the 9th time around.

"Good morning All Might", you sighed in response. Your tone made it clear that you didn't feel the same excitement as he did.

" I'll be ready in exactly 15 and a half minutes most, and thank you for your help" you say as you get out of your bed. He never met you before in person until you landed from the airport and only heard the tremendous remarks of his past sidekick as well as the people who knew you, and it sounded like you were a happy and shy person, similarly to his successor.
