- Chapter 15 -

Izuku POV

After speaking with Iida and Uruaka for a moment about her reasons for becoming a hero, Izuku excused himself from the group to go find you. However was stopped in his tracks by All Might, who invited him shyly to eat lunch together.

"That's adorable!" Uruaka gushes.

"Uh yea, I guess I can."

"Oh! And please bring Y/N with you! I need to speak with the two of you."

"Sure thing All Might."

I wonder what he needs with the both of us. Could it be about the sports festival? Or maybe an update of the USJ? Or maybe about our quirks.

He was running and thinking at the same time, which led him to bump into Bakugo on his way over to you. And his heart basically stopped in fear.

"Ah! Oh my gosh Kacchan I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to bump into you I wasn't-"

"Who the fuck do you think you are?! Watch where you're going you weak bastard!" Bakugo yelled.

"I'm sorry!" Izuku bows, then continues to run off to you.

"Hey! Where do you think you're going damn Deku?"

"Hey, calm down Bakugo. He said he was sorry, let him go." Kirishima puts a reassuring hand on his shoulder, which Bakugo shoves off with a grunt.

"Tch, whatever."

Deep down in his gut, Bakugo knew where the boy was going. He didn't know how, or why he cared for either of you in the first place, which pissed him off more.

Where did those feelings come from?

Meanwhile, Izuku sneaks out the back door you two went out of last time, and walks to the building you must be on top of.

He looks at the rooftop, noticing your wings and halo pop out of the ledge, and calls you down.

"Hey, um, Y/N? All Might wants to talk to the two of us for a minute."

In an instant, he could see you jump off the rooftop and plummet to the ground. Izuku covered his eyes in fear of your fall, but with your wings out followed by a large gust of wind, he opened his eyes to see you levitating just above the ground.

"What are you covering your eyes for? I'm not gonna die from a height like that you know?"

"O- oh! Yea, I knew that. You just caught me off guard that's all." Izuku puts his hand behind his neck.

Y/N's a fast one isn't she, her quick and agile movements are startling up close.

"So, All Might wants to talk to us huh, then let's go, and quickly. I can't stand a crowded cafeteria for too long without getting a raging headache."

"S-sure! Let's go."

You both hastily walk across the cafeteria and into the exit, and you catch the glimpse of Todoroki staring down the both of you. Neither of you react, and he returns back to eating his soba in silence, while you continue walking.

Izuku notices this exchange, and looks towards you with interest.

I can't help but notice the similarities in character between Todoroki and Y/N. Both seem distant yet powerful, and they look as if they're hiding so much emotion behind their eyes. Both of them look like they been through a lot, and Y/N especially always looks uncaring, I just hope both of them are alright, I feel useless being unable to help them.
