- Chapter 29 -

You and Izuku's features reflected onto Todoroki's dual colored irises, Izuku's fear stricken expression contrasting your rather unbothered stature. You knew what was about to occur, what was about to be said, you even knew that Bakugo followed you three out of curiosity as to what you all were hiding from the rest of class 1A for.

You didn't warn the two boys about Bakugo's presence, for his knowledge of Todoroki's past would be useful much later on. Once they all become friends with each other, Todoroki will have three friends to rely on, whether he wants them or not.

"What did you want to talk about, Todoroki?"

Todoroki unnecessarily prolonged the silence amongst you, making Izuku's anxiety increase about the entire situation. The poor boy was so confused, he had no idea what Todoroki was going to say or do, and you weren't much of a comfort either at the moment, since you created this wall on their friendship that was way too large for him to destroy just yet.

"If we don't hurry, the cafeteria will probably be really crowded... um.."

You could feel the way Izuku thought of the Todoroki, as he compares and contrasts between you, him, and Bakugo. He feels that unlike Bakugo and yourself, Todoroki gives off a cold intimidation, one where Izuku was almost afraid of him. He was also intimidated by you, however there's this warmth in your eyes that no matter how hard you tried, you would never be able to hide. And Bakugo was just a hot head, all bark with rarely any bite.

You tried your hardest to hide the flush in your cheek from Izuku's emotions, and waited for Todoroki to speak.

"I was overpowered, so much so that I almost broke my pledge." Todorki states flatly, resulting in Izuku to look towards the ground, sweat forming on his brow.

"And Kirigaya-"

"Y/N."

He looks at you blankly, bringing his left hand towards his face.

"And...Y/N... had to make up for what I lacked, with a fire power of her own."

Todoroki reminisces about the moment where Izuku used his quirk for a split moment, before he was taken aback by your new quirk. To him, you both were so similar when it came to unknown powers and pure strength, he was admittedly threatened by the two of you.

"When you both used your quirks, when I saw All Might's power up close for the first time. It was similar."

Izuku looked at you, and you looked back for a moment before returning your attention towards Todoroki.

Izuku is scared that Todoroki might know the truth about our connections to All Might. Just thinking about what he'll say to us next is already making me laugh, I can't, I have to hold it in.

"what...does... that mean?" Izuku asks nervously.

"It means I felt a similar sense of power coming from the two of you when I saw All Might fight up close." 

Todoroki drops his hand to his side, and Izuku immensely tenses up due to the pure fear he feels at the thought of him knowing your guys' secret. You don't react, already knowing what was about to happen, and you tried your damn best not to burst out laughing.

"Midoriya, Y/N, are you guys..."

"...All Might's secret love children or something?"

"Pffft." you spit, keeping your hand over your mouth in hopes not to make light of the intense situation, but damn Todoroki never misses with that statement.

Goddammit Todoroki, love children?!?! Us?!?

"W-what?" Izuku was speechless, eyes blank in flustered confusion.
