As the day went on, you and Iida patrolled across Hosu City completing simple tasks, whether that be helping the elderly cross the street, or calling in for backup when small criminals or villains were caught. You nor Iida were allowed to fight in the front lines, only observing and taking notes on Manual's movements and battle strategies.

The day quickly came and went, your halo reflecting the colors of the sky as the sun began to set, basking in a dark purple sky, your nerves growing louder as the night swallowed Hosu City.

"Woah, where'd the time go, it's about time we start heading back to HQ." Manual says, looking up towards the stars littered across the sky above. You nodded, snapping your eyes quickly to your right, where Iida stood with tension.

Manual knew where Iida's mind was headed, and grabbed his shoulder with a sympathetic smile, which caught the engine hero off guard.

"Hey, I know what you want to do, and I get where it's coming from. But using your quirk for selfish reasons is not what a hero does."

"It's actually quite a villainous thing to do."

Iida's eyes widened, actually present and taking in his mentor's words for the first time today. Confused on how even Manual knew of his potential plan.

"I'll... I'll try my best." He responded, lowering his head.

Just then, a huge explosion occurred just a few blocks down where you three were.

"W-what the!" Manual yelled, looking towards the source of the large bang.

Now's my que.

You swiftly and quickly spread your wings as they burst from the tattoo on your back, and in a matter of a second flew straight into the air, heading straight for the hero killer himself.

I won't let Stain hurt Iida, or Shoto..

.... I won't let the hero killer even get the opportunity to touch Izuku.

"Wha- where's Y/N going!?" Manual yells, scared that you were going to fight alone.

"Iida, you follow her, I'll go see what that explosion was all about." Manual orders, briskly running away and towards the fire, while Iida stood there.

And began to run towards the Hero Killer as well.

Izuku pov

Gran Torino protected Izuku from the explosion that just barely missed their train, Izuku covered his eyes from the wind and glass pieces that shattered from the broken train windows.

"Wh-what was that?!" Izuku yelled in shock, staring wide eyed at the fire that erupted as a result of the blast. Gran Torino didn't respond, immediately switching his gears into hero mode, optimizing his skill set to ensure everyone's safety, while also keeping everyone on board as calm as possible.

"Kid, you take care of things here, do NOT leave this train. I'll go check on things outside, I'll let you know further details once I cleared out the people from the explosion site." The retired hero ordered, quickly using his power jets to run as fast as he could towards the unknown cause of the explosion.

"Wait!" Izuku yelled, however, falling on deaf ears as Gran Torino was already too far gone to follow let alone stop. Everyone on the train began to scramble and find a way out, looking to the rookie student hero for any sort of help or direction, only for Izuku to be just as scared and confused.
