You were getting ready in the locker room meant for first class 1A students, used to generally freak out or warm up in. To drink your last gulp of water and to hype your mind that you could do it, and that no matter what happens, as long as you did your best, that was all that mattered. You, however, were always the outlier amongst your classmates. You weren't worried, nor were you nervous about your fight. Due to the fact that you have fought against these people so much to the point you could probably fight once more with your eyes closed.
You already bandaged your gabs and ripped skin from earlier once you entered the locker room, and were now stretching your wings as well as your body, feeling satisfied once you felt or heard a crack from your bones.
You had no need for warming up, however you just couldn't be stationary when so much was happening, but then again, when was anything in your life stationary?
You had your headphones on, blasting the playlist you put on whenever a fight was about to occur. Silencing all outside noise and emotions to focus on your own, that is until you felt a tap on your shoulder. You flinched in surprise and gripped the arm of the culprit, only to find Izuku with a grimace on his face from the sudden pain. Your eyes widened at who it was and immediately let him go, mumbling a gentle sorry under your breath before removing your headgear.
"You really need to stop sneaking up on me, I will hurt you next time." You say, putting a hand on your hip in a scolding manner, as he nervously laughed while rubbing his wrist to calm the pain.
"I'm sorry, I forget how high tech those headphones of yours are." Izuku says softly, being blindly kind as always, even though you obviously hurt him. You accidently damaged the arm with the recently healed finger from his fight with Shinso, and you felt bad for hurting him, even a little.
"Here, may I?" You ask softly, out reaching your hand in an attempt for his own. He became flustered by the sentiment, and shakily gave you his arm, trusting you completely with his injury.
You gently placed your left hand over his right, as your right hand cradled his to not insight any more pain. You then emitted a dimly lit golden glow from your palm, you were using your healing ability to help numb and possibly eradicate the slight pain from his wrist.
The entire time Izuku was both fascinated and flustered all in one, he didn't quite know how to handle a girl, let alone you. Holding his hand so intimately, so gentle and careful with him, and your healing power felt warm on his hand, it even helped ease the soreness of his recently healed finger.
"Incredible." Izuku whispered, not realizing that you could hear him. You barely cracked a smile as you also began to lightly blush.
You're the one that's incredible.
"Feeling any better?" You ask softly, looking at him with your serious and tense gaze. One he nodded, you removed your hand from his wrist and the light emitting from your palm faded. He moved his worst as well as his finger with a large grin, content with your handiwork.
"Thank you so much Y/N, that healing ability must be such a useful quirk." Izuku says with wonder, silently conveying the desire to talk more about your quirk. You knew he wanted to discuss his strange encounter with his vestige world, but you didn't think it was your job to teach him about One for All and it's mysteries. It should be the one who possessed the quirk itself, All Might, rather than you, to explain these things.
"It's a double edged sword. Like I've said before, it's helpful during the moment, but it drains my solar energy very quickly, and I would rather fight in the front lines rather than heal anxiously in the back burner."
