"First, you're gonna have to meet your homeroom teacher and the principal, probably at the front doors of the school. Both are cool and reliable people,"

if you have any initial questions about your time at U.A, ask them.

"If you have any initial questions about your time at U.A, ask them," he finishes his statement. You internally snickered, you have had this conversation over 20 times, it runs like clockwork in your head now.

"You're in class 1A, or the hero course, and this is your homeroom teacher." He pushes a print photo of the teacher near you, even though you obviously knew what your teacher looked like you couldn't help but always notice just how much he changes throughout the year. In this photo he looks tired sure, but throughout the year he will gain more scars, more wrinkles mostly due to all the worrying over his class, looks exhausted instead of simply tired, and will become a father figure to you that you will cherish dearly.

"His name is-". "Shota Aizawa, or commonly known as Eraserhead in the hero world," you finished his exact sentence to the very word, to be honest you were attempting to finish this conversation as fast as possible due to how utterly boring it was to you.

Throughout your long and excruciating time travel journey you've gained new actions, reactions, and pet peeves. One of which was repetition or repetitiveness, it would make your blood boil, and the last thing you needed to do your 29th time back was snap at All Might. He wouldn't be able to understand your anger and frustration anyway.

"Yeah actually, you did your research huh kid," he slightly laughed responding to you. You simply hummed to acknowledge his question, not directly agreeing or disagreeing with his accusation.

"It's always nice to be prepared I suppose, well just giving you a heads up he's not exactly all warm and cuddly",

I beg to differ

"And he can be intimidating, but he is a great guy and an even better mentor." You glanced back at him.

his emotions when talking about Mr. Aizawa were endearment, but slight intimidation.

I never really paid much attention to All Mights emotions at this point, and I never realized that when he first started teaching he was intimidated by Mr. Aizawa.

You softly smiled at the thought, you rarely found anything new nowadays when it came to learning about your classmates and teachers, so it was nice to be learning more about the early stages of teacher All Might. Apparently he was intimidated by his coworkers.

"Ok All Might, I'll keep that in mind when meeting him", you responded calmly. He notices the slight smile gracing your face, which in turn made him smile with you.

"I can see that you're excited yeah? I'd expect you to be more nervous, considering your... uh." He paused, you could tell his nervousness began to rise due to his sudden stutter and beads of sweat beginning to form.

"You have a history of anxiety right Kirigaya?"

When he first brought that up I almost spit out my breakfast, even though I know All Might very well, to him we have just met simply two days ago. He brings it up so bluntly, and I get it's his first couple days of being a teacher to a bunch of savior complexed teenagers, but at least be gentile and ease into it instead of shoving it in my face. That sentence always makes me anxious and embarrassed.

You put your steamed rice down, and you unintentionally began to frown at his question. "Oh sorry I didn't mean to -"

"It's fine." You interrupted his sentence, having been through this conversation with All Might before, the last thing you wanted to occur was an uncomfortable conversation about mental health to the number one hero and the symbol of peace.

It made you feel inferior for possessing and experiencing mental illnesses that are all too common, especially in today's toxic society. The number one hero discussing emotions and problems the world you yearned to be a part of deemed "unfit for heroism" always succeeded in compelling you to feel weak.

Before the tension began to rise any further, you excused yourself and bowed to thank him for the breakfast. It was essential for you to leave that anxiety ridden conversation as fast as you could. As you were leaving the table you could feel his guilt and mentally hitting himself at his words.

I mean, at least he realized what he was trying to convey to me was not the best way to go about it. I hope I didn't act rude, but I can't go through that conversation a 29th time.

"I'll be back in a moment, let me just grab my things for school", you exclaimed to him as you were jogging up the stairs. "All right! I'll meet you outside ok kid?!" He questions, trying his very best to sound as if you didn't have to rush. His intentions towards you are truly genuine, all he really wants is for you to be comfortable with him.

You grabbed your backpack and didn't bother to check if you had all that you needed, having the knowledge that you do results in the day feeling slightly faster, which was better than making your 29th round of this school year going at a snail's pace.

You grabbed your shoes and clicked your toes on the floor twice each foot, you always did this before leaving to officially realize that you're doing this.

Alright, this is it. I'm actually doing this again huh? Wow... I guess... I really am.

You closed the door to your bedroom and jumped over the railings to fly to the front door, landing gracefully in front of it.

In front of the new year.

in front of the world you know all too well while it doesn't know you at all.

"Are you ready to do this?" He routinely asked you, he said those very words every time before your commute to U.A, and you responded with the same answer.

"Ready as I'll ever be."

//Authors note

Sorry for the slightly short chapter, longer chapters are coming I promise (no like seriously my fingers are about to fall off because of some of them)

I also wanted to clarify an uploading schedule? At first I was thinking once a week but since I'm new I'll upload the first 10 at the moment more frequently! Possibly every 2-3 days?

And hopefully I depicted both All Might and Small Might as canonically as possible, idk I feel like he has the best intentions but goes about it the worst way.

To those who wonder why Y/N has specifically anxiety, it's due to a few reasons. I feel like it's unfortunately all too common of a mental illness (myself included), and I wanted to explore what All Might would do if he was confronted with a teenager that had a mental illness. As well as seeing how hero society reacts to hero course students with it as well.

So hopefully you resonate with Y/N more! If you have any more questions lmk💗

P.s : You'll meet all the students soon! It was necessary however to create a basic yet concrete backstory such as where you came from, you inner thoughts, and how you perceive the world knowing what's going to happen before they occur.

You'll meet them either next chapter or the chapter after that at most!
