You, Izuku, and All Might were all walking out of U.A after a quick talk with the main detective on the scene. He reassured the safety of everyone involved; including Aizawa and Thirteen. You three were the only ones that were truly hurt in any way, which made all of you sigh in relief. You knew in the end Aizawa and Thirteen would live, but Aizawa really scared you considering events were different than the last few dozen times. You weren't completely confident in his survival, but everyone was ok, and that's all that really mattered to you.
You three left U.A at sunset, the orange and red hues illuminating your halo that gently floated above your head. You turned your gaze towards the horizon, and sighed softly. Oh how you adored sunsets, flying above the city and twirling through the clouds, feeling as if you're the only one on earth. However as the timelines went on, you've lost touch in your interests and hobbies, lost touch in who you are, or rather who you were.
Maybe I should take a flight tonight, I haven't done anything for me in a while. Heh, have I really not done the things that I like in that long? Wow, I'm really losing pieces of myself throughout this long journey. I'm really losing myself...
"Y/N?"
You snap out of your thoughts immediately, taking out your earbuds at the sound of your temporary guardian calling out to you.
"Um, yes?"
"Young Midoriya is actually coming home with us for a couple of hours. We all need to talk about.... you know what." He nods, keeping the truth of your quirk a surprise until the proper moment.
"Yea, sure." You mumble, still upset over everything the day held for you. You met Shigaraki once again, you debuted your quirk once again, you fought the league once again, but this time not as many people got hurt. However in turn, this has been the most injured you have been during any USJ attack.
You carried the scars of the original timeline so that no one you cared about would have to. It's only been day one and you already broke an arm, you could feel that this will be a continuous theme of this timeline.
But you have been through so much, and nothing was more painful and dreadful that seeing the people you love die over and over, leaving you alone in the aftermath.
And you couldn't tell anyone, which was probably the thing that ate you up the most. The only person you could tell was across the globe, and you were hoping to talk with her tonight. But you couldn't do that with the two of them awake and able to hear you.
Nevertheless, you had to keep it in, bottle it up and dig the biggest grave you could for your emotions. And to make sure no one sees the evidence of the past, of every past that existed thus far.
"I'm going on ahead, I can feel the two of you wanting to talk about... One for All." You state, feeling the tug on both of their minds wanting to talk to each other.
"Y-Y/N-" Midoriya pleas, but you already flew away. Yearning to witness and bask in the sunset before it became dark. The sunset was the best time to absorb sunlight, the golden warm colors soaking all over your body like a hot bath. It was ethereal, your throbbing arm was feeling already so much better.
You couldn't heal broken bones, but you could at least ease the pain. The pain of your bones, you heart, your mind. Well, you couldn't heal your sadness literally with the sunlight, but you could clear your mind in its rays.
You swayed with your music and spun into clouds, as your halo changed colors due to every angle of the sun. Your mind became hazed until only the melody of the song was left.
