- Chapter 14 -

It was the next morning, after Izuku was picked up by his mother, you immediately went to bed as you were exhausted. Even though your recurring nightmares made it difficult to get a decent rest, you were lucky enough to rest at all.

You did however, attempt at revisiting your own quirks vestige world, but to no avail. You weren't revisited by the consciousnesses of your family's lineage, only the terrors and gut wrenching demons of your past. Which left you with large purple under eye bags when you woke up.

This morning, All Might wasn't home at all, he instead left a note for you on the kitchen table. You knew it mentioned him being at a meeting to discuss "things" with the U.A staff, which definitely meant the USJ incident.

The first few times, the attack really shook you up. Seeing that guy with dead hands all over his body in your nightmares never failed to bring a shiver down your spine. However that fear slowly shifted into rage, and blaming all of your problems and trauma on him and his little possy of phsychotic nobodys who called themselves the League of  Villains.

It was all over the news, screaming in our ears and constantly reminding everyone of such a terrifying and life threatening moment in our lives. It makes me sick how news anchors used our lives being on the line for a good story, and since U.A is one of the best schools in the world the incident went international. And a certain someone back at home will give me an earful about it later, ugh I can hear his arrogant voice in my head now.

Everyone got a day off, mainly to just take a breath and reflect on the past events. As well as for teachers and heroes alike to come with a plan to reinforce security and safety precautions this day onwards.

However, you knew from experiencing everything before that no one really rested, this was everyone else's first time being attacked by real life villains on such a large scale after all. You couldn't rest your first time either, only being able to pace around and cry about it the first few times.

You were dumb back then, not calculating your words or actions throughly enough, resulting in you getting sent back home, put in jail, or seeing your friends in hospital beds for days after the incident.

You had a thorough plan now, however the consequences of your plan could be the loss of your life. But what's the point of living after all of this, you've lived the life of basically an adult due to re-doing the year 28 times. What more was there, besides the unknown?

You took All Might's absence as an opportunity to fly to school instead of being grounded due to his company, so you connected your flying ear buds. (yes you have different kinds of ear buds/ headphones for different situations. Last time you flew with headphones they fell off your head and broke.)

You took flight and immediately lost yourself in the music, your connection with the piece resonating with you to the point of numbing your mind within the song.

It was a sunny day that included sakura petals dancing in the wind, as well as a plethora of cumulus clouds scattered throughout the sky. The song's lyrics resonate a little too deeply with your life at the moment, as you ponder on the words.

Is there anything love can do, the lyrics hit deeper every time I listen, but the melody is stunning as is the day today. I've seen this sky about a million times, yet I never seem to get bored of it.

Your mind wanders from one thought to the next, simply thinking to yourself about anything you could come up with. However, you weren't paying attention to the people and students around you, therefore not noting that few of your classmates saw you flying above them and trying to wave you down, but your aloof nature resulted in you completely ignoring them.
