You didn't pay attention the first time, but you realized that you were able to walk around and move your body, which you noted was very different to Izuku's experience in One for All's vestige world. He told you before that his body was covered in a black cloud, and that he couldn't walk nor talk, just stand there and observe the area around him.I still can't use my quirk at all here, which means I can't fly or absorb any solar energy around me. Do I even need it here? Since I'm not technically on earth, would that mean there's no oxygen here? How am I breathing? How am I even existing-
"Even here, your head is always somewhere else." A harsh yet familiar voice reprimanded at your aloof nature, a characteristic you were never able to truly repress throughout the years.
You snapped out of your snowball of questions and turned towards them, your eyes widening at the figure that was before you.
Or rather, the three that were in front of you. Each and every one of them had a distinct human figure, but glowed a bright white, almost blinding. And all of them were winged in some way, sporting large wide wings that made them look like angels.
You couldn't help but take a step or two back from them in fear, they were extremely intimidating. Which was the complete opposite of the woman you met the first time you visited.
"Why are you dwelling on such insignificant questions when you should be thinking about your future!" That same male voice bellowed from one of the glowing figures, again your mind recognized him but couldn't place on who it was.
"Must you be so harsh? Give the child a break, this is only her second time here. We were told to be gentile, not demanding." Another voice scolded, but with a more kind and mellow yet also masculine tone.
"We don't have the luxury of time you two, we need to be swift and efficient, not waste time bickering." The third figure boomed, however this time it was a more feminine voice, and the utter power that radiated off of her was overwhelming.
When you can just feel the pure strength and energy emitting off of someone just by their existence is a rare occurrence, let alone by someone who has apparently passed away so long ago is in of itself a remarkable feeling. She seemed like a person who invoked attention everywhere she went, it was almost frightening to be around.
You couldn't depict a distinct physical feature on this woman, but you could write a list on the amount of pure presence she must have demanded when she was alive. You couldn't believe you were a direct lineage to this woman.
"I apologize on their behalf, Kirigya's are infamous for being tone deaf to the situation at hand, especially older generations like us." She begins to say, walking over to you slowly. This woman loomed over you, and you had to physically lift your head up to face her.
"Who- who are you?" You ask quietly, a slight shake in your voice over nerves.
"I am Diane Kirigaya, granddaughter of the first." She boomed.
Of the... first?
"And the reason I'm specifically here is due to the fact we share one of the dozens of quirks Angelic holds, we are connected in that way." She kneels to you, attempting to meet at eye level.
She didn't have to say which quirk she was talking about, you knew just by being near her what you two shared.
"Do you recall another predecessor telling you that you were more connected to some of your ancestors than others?"
You simply nod.
"Well, we three are in some way shape or form connected to you, either by quirk or characteristic or nature. Which is why we were brought to you now, to share with you what is happening." Diane asserts, almost commanding you.
