2nd chapter of the day! Enjoy😜

Tuck's POV
"What'd he say?" I asked Skye as we speed-walked away.

"He was asking where Everest was going," Skye responded.

"Why would he want to know?" I questioned.

"I don't have a clue," Skye answered. "He also said she almost got hit by a car."

"By a car!?" I yelled.

"Yeah, but he said he pushed her outta the way. I don't know. She has a lot of explaining to do."

"Yup. We gotta hurry. We turn here, right?"

"Yeah, right here." We both turned the corner and made it just in time to see Everest turn left about four blocks out ahead. "Ya saw her?"

"Yep," I nodded.

"Race you?"

"Go!" I yelled as I ran and got a head start.

Third POV
"Around here," Zuma pointed in thought.

"I think that way," Ella said, pointing in another direction to where Zuma was pointing.

"Pretty sure that way," Rubble nodded as he pointed straight ahead.

"Oh, hey, look, let's see if Marshall knows," Zuma decided. The three walked up to Marshall, who was pacing back and forth. "Marsh, ma man," Zuma hollered.

"Oh, God," Rubble said while cringing so hard and as Ella giggled.

"Uh, hey, Zuma," Marshall slightly smiled.

"Did you happen to see either Rocky, Everest, or Skye and Tuck?" He asked.

"Everyone but Rocky," Marshall responded. "Can I know what's going on?"

"We're looking for Rocky, that's all."

"Why?"

"Long story, where'd they all go?" Ella jumped in.

"They all turned the corner, but-" Marshall said, getting cut off by the three running off.

"Sorry!" Rubble hollered. "Thanks for the directions!"

"I'm going to send the group chat a few memes," I decided.

"Memes?" Rubble asked. "Right now?"

"Listen, I do that every day and if I'm not sending any, Rocky would suspect something," I explained. "Send a few emojis in response or something."

Chase's POV
"It has nothing to do with us," Max added. "I don't think it's a good idea."

"I know, but what if it's bad?" I asked. "Like, what if they need our help but won't ask for it?"

"I-I guess you're right," Max shrugged.

"I think they crossed here..." I said as my voice trailed off with a little doubt.

"Hey, wait a minute," Max paused. "Is that Marshall?" I looked over about two blocks ahead to where Max was pointing to see Marshall pacing back and forth. He seemed uneasy and worried.

"It is Marshall."

"What'd you think is wrong with him?"

"I dunno. Let's go check." Max and I walked the two blocks and made it to Marshall in no time.

"Hey, Marshall," Max greeted with a smile.

"Hey," Marshall dryly responded.

"Marshall, are you okay?" I questioned.
