Chapter 38: Soccer

Hey guys!!! I hope everyone had a fantastic day. I can't believe we made it to chapter 38!!! And we're STILL going!!! Woo!!! Sorry bout leaving u guys on a cliffhanger yesterday. I didn't rly find it a cliffhanger but if u did, sorry. The good thing is that we're back and we're back with a new chapter! So let's get started with chapter 38. Enjoy😜

Third POV
"She disappeared," Rubble informed Zuma.

"Thank God," Zuma sighed. "Do you see Ella?"

"Uh..." Rubble said as he scanned both sides of the hallway. "Nope."

"Where'd she go?" Zuma asked himself. Zuma pulled out his phone and sent a quick text to Ella. "Are we able to get out?"

"Yes," Rubble answered after he twisted the knob.

"The other side is locked, right?"

"Yep."

"Let's wait until it's safe to get out."

"Isn't it safe, though?"

"Yes, but we still don't know where Ella went, let alone everyone else went."

"Well, did you text them?"

"Yes about- oh, Everest answered. They're in the gym."

Third POV
"What are you doing here?" Skye asked Rocky.

"What are all of you guys doing here?" Rocky redirected the question as he let go of the pull-up pole.

"Since when do you work out?" Everest spoke up. Everyone turned to look at Rocky, who stood there with a confused face. Rocky looked down at himself and forgot he wasn't wearing a shirt.

"Oops," he quickly said, running to get his shirt.

"Rex? Tracker?" Skye called.

"Hi," Rex smiled.

"Uh, yeah?" Tracker asked.

"I knew it!" Everest pointed. "There was something up with these three."

"Did you guys follow me or something?" Rocky asked when he straightened his shirt out.

"Maybe," Everest replied.

"Uh, what are they doing here?" Rocky asked as he pointed to Chase, Max, and Marshall.

"They followed us," Skye informed. "What are you doing here?" Rocky let out a sigh as he looked down at his sneakers and then back up at his friends.

"Where's Rubble, Zuma, and Ella? I'll tell you with them," He requested.

"Oh, yeah," Everest thought. "We came in here 'cuz we heard someone in the halls."

"Who!?" Tracker alarmingly asked.

"We aren't sure," Everest answered.

"It's the nurse!" Max enlightened. "And she's coming this way!" Max ran away from the gym door as everyone looked for a place to hide.

"Where'd we go?" Rex whisper shouted.

"In here!" Marshall called as he opened the door of the boy's bathroom.

"The boy's bathroom!?" Skye and Everest protested.

"Just go in," Rocky instructed as he gave a light shove to the two. The eight all ran into the bathroom and lightly closed the door.

"What's that smell?" Everest asked.

"Smells like they cleaned the bathroom," Max said as he gave a small sniff.

"This is what the bathroom smells like when it's clean?" Skye questioned.

"Stop exaggerating," Rocky spoke back. "It's not that bad."
