Third POV
"So what'd we do about the project?" Chase asked right after Skye hung up with Everest.

"I'll finish," Skye offered.

"Ya sure?"

"Yeah. I mean, it's just one more slide and the pictures."

"Okay," Chase smiled.

"Let's head out now," Skye said as she grabbed her sweater. They both walked out of the room and made their way down the stairs. "I'm going out!" Skye informed Bolt.

"What?" He asked as he turned to face the two. "Where?"

"I don't know," Skye shrugged. "Everest and Marshall invited us."

"So you two aren't going alone?"

"No."

"Okay," Bolt said as he eyed the two.

"Can Jace stay here for a bit?" Chase asked Bolt.

"Yeah, sure," Bolt nodded. "I'll be right here."

"Have fun!" Storm called out.

"Not too much fun," Bolt said, eyeing the two again. Skye just laughed as Chase chuckled. "Bring her back in one piece," Bolt warned.

"Of course," Chase laughed. Chase held the door open for Skye and closed the door behind.

"So, where does Marshall live?" Skye asked, looking up at Chase.

"About three blocks away from here," Chase responded. The two made their way walking to Marshall's.

"So, Jace, Grace, and Chase?" Skye said, trying not to get tongue twisted.

"Yeah," Chase chuckled. "And what's your little sister's name? I don't remember her saying much."

"Oh, her," Skye smiled as she thought of her sister. "Her name is Sunshine. She's shy but social if you talk to her."

"I'll keep that in mind."

"So, how's your sister?"

"Grace? Like any teenage girl," Chase shrugged. "She likes fashion, makeup, takes so long in the bathroom," Chase added, playfully rolling his eyes. Skye laughed at this. "She reads teen magazines and wants to dye her hair."

"Cool. Why doesn't she?"

"Mom says she's too young."

"Ah."

"How are your parents?"

"M-My parents?" Skye asked. Chase nodded. "They're in a better place now," she sighed.

"What?" Chase asked, confused. He had even stopped walking, causing Skye to do the same. "So, they're-?" Skye nodded. "Oh, I'm sorry."

"Don't be." The two continued to walk.

"Yeah, but I brought them up."

"Nothin' wrong with that."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah." Chase and Skye made it to the end of the block. They looked both ways before crossing. Almost there.

"How're your parents?" Skye said, trying to maintain a conversation going.
