Hey guys!!! I hope everyone is doing great. Before we start I wanted to tell u all that the ship ZumaxRocky won. There r some downfalls about this, however. Some ppl aren't completely on board with gay ships so I'm kinda on a 50/50 mark. So let me know what I should do down in the comments below. My brother has an opinion and for some reason something in my gut tells me what I should do too. But let's start with chapter 18. Enjoy😜

Everest's POV
"Rise and shine," my dad said, opening the curtains.

"Just ten more minutes," I begged. I grabbed my pillow and put it over my face.

"Your friend Skye called," he began.

"What she say?" I asked, sitting up on my bed with my eyes wide open. I threw my pillow on the ground when I did this.

"Someone's wide awake now," my dad chuckled.

"You lied?" I asked, a little angry.

"No, no, I'm serious," he laughed. "She called to remind you you were going to hang out today. She's dropping off her little siblings at a friend's house and then she'll head out. I think she's going to Jake's Mountain. Drake's Mountain. I don't know."

"Oh yeah," I said, getting out of bed. "I totally forgot."

"I'm going to the truck's parking lot," Dad informed. "The trucks are all full of snow, so I'm going to clean them." I nodded as Dad left the room. I got out my favorite winter outfit and put it on. After, I got my boots and coat. I ran out of my room and made my way to the living room. Blizzard was already plopped on the couch with a blanket searching through the different channels. "This is what you're doing on your snow day?"

"Yeah, too cold to be out," he said, not looking at me. "Crazy people are going out in this weather." Dad and I looked at each other as he then sat up and glanced at us. "You're going out? Both of you?"

"Yes," I responded. "To Jake's Mountain."

"Pfff, good luck," he laughed. "Heard it's like 10 degrees over there."

"Hahaha," I said sarcastically.

"I'm going to go and clean the trucks," Dad informed. "Why don't you go out and shovel some snow out front?"

"I'm fine," he laughed.

"Wanna go with Everest to Jake's?"

"I'll go shovel some snow," Blizzard said, quickly getting up.

"See ya later," I shouted.

"Bye," Dad said.

"Leave," Blizzard ordered. I rolled my eyes in response and opened the door. Some snow fell in, causing me to move back.

"Woah." I looked outside and saw that the snow was high enough to reach the top of my leg, and I'm one of the tallest girls in my grade. I needed to get to the garage to get my snowboard and my skates. I walked into the snow, sending chills all over my legs. Probably needed to wear six pairs of socks to stop my feet from getting soaked. I struggled to make my way to the garage. I opened the door and grabbed both my snowboard and skates. I closed the door and went back out through the driveway. Neighbors all over seemed to be shoveling snow. Some people's driveways were even cleared already.

The good thing was that it wasn't snowing anymore. The best part was that the sun wasn't out to melt any snow either. I had to walk on the street since the sidewalks were still covered in snow. I made my way out of town and into the forest. I sent a quick text to the group chat and got a quick response from Rocky.

Me: Anyone there yet???

Rocky: Where?

Me: Uh, Jake's
