2nd chapter of the day!!! Enjoy😜

Third POV
"Are we going to start any cheers?" Ella asked Sweetie.

"Cheers?" Sweetie asked.

"Yeah, like any cheers for the football team," Ella said. "Do what a cheerleading team does."

"Oh, that," Sweetie understood. "I did do some research and found a few videos that can give you ideas."

"Us?" Skye asked.

"Yes, you," Sweetie mocked. "Heard you two have experience. Makes my job a lot easier." Sweetie walked off and took a seat between Maggie and Stella.

"The audacity this girl has," Ella whispered to Skye.

"For real," Skye agreed.

"We start tomorrow?"

"Sure. That way, it gives us time to convince Eve to come practice too."

"True." The five girls heard the coach blow the whistle, and they all looked to see the guys group back up with the coach.

"Go, Chase!" Sweetie cheered. Chase looked back towards Sweetie, looked away, and continued to walk over to the others. Skye and Ella heard Sweetie talk to Maggie and Stella, but they didn't know what she spoke about. Chase was their first guess.

"Should we?" Ella asked Skye.

"I don't know," Skye responded. "I want to, but I'm afraid Sweetie is going to end up saying something."

"Let's wait for the right moment."

Zuma's POV
"No...you didn't," I heard Jackson say with disbelief.

"Yes, now don't tell anyone," Marshall begged.

"You really doing her like that?" Max asked with an unsure tone.

"I have to know," Marshall explained. "I want to know her thoughts on me. Like, does she actually hate me or is she alright with me? Does she notice the stares? I want to know."

"I'll answer for you," Hunter offered. "She actually hates you, she notices the stares, and would've hit you with the chair if Ms. Villano didn't stop her." Hunter began to laugh hysterically, grabbing the attention of the other teammates.

"Sorry about that," Coach apologized as he made his way back to us with flyers. "I've been informed that you will be going out on a trip soon to Lake Louise. That is- if your parents allow you to."

"A lake?" Hunter asked. "That's it?"

"It's Lake Louise," Coach said with excitement. "Have you not seen pictures of it?"

"Um, no," Hunter responded. "Why would I look up pictures of a crappy lake?"

"Oh, so this is "crappy?" Coach asked as he held out a picture of what is supposed to be Lake Louise. It looks amazing. We all stared at the picture in amazement. "You'll be staying in cabins at a campsite with a pool and will be going canoeing at the lake. I'll be amongst the few chaperones. All the information needed to know is on the permission slip. Oh, I almost forgot. This is off topic, but I forgot to mention, tomorrow we'll be having a new teammate join the team. If I'm not mistaking, he's a junior and knows some of you. Zuma, mind passing out the flyers?" Coach asked as I nodded. "When you all get one, you can head over to the locker room and change to head home."

Coach gave me all the permission slips and walked away to his office. I walked around and handed everyone a flyer as they all spoke about the trip. Well, everyone but one group.

"I told him he shouldn't do it," Chase began.

"Why do you care?" Hunter asked. "Ooo, Marshall. Chase tryna take your girl."

"I'm not tryna take anyone," Chase defended. "It's just, why do you need to ask her this way?"

"If I ask her myself, she'd think I'm weird," Marshall informed.

"But you are," Jackson said as he and Hunter broke out into laughter.

"She'd think you're weird when she finds out you're texting her and asking her questions about you from someone else's account. Plus, acting like someone else."

"He has a point," Max agreed with Chase.

"You do realize how loud you're talking?" Marshall asked with a bit of embarrassment. "And who is around." Bet he's referring to me.

"Here," I said as I handed them each a slip. Just as I walked off, I heard Marshall's voice from behind.

"You guys need to pay attention to who is around," Marshall said. "I'm going to get busted."

"Do you think the girl is dumb?" Max questioned. "She's going to find out anyway."

"With you guys speaking like that, of course, she will," Marshall argued.

"She's going to find out either way," Chase shrugged.

Everest's POV
"So, that's what's going on," I finished.

"But...why?" Rocky asked. "Like, I get his intentions. I know he wants answers, like you. But does he need to do it like that?"

"Of course not," I responded. "The worst part, since I'm not sure who it is, I can't say certain things. I can't say something mean about Stella because I don't know if it's Stella. I also can't say anything mean to Marshall because I don't know if it's him."

"Oh," Rocky understood.

"Exactly," I pointed out. "Another thing, though. Does he think I'm stupid? Did he think I wasn't going to find out? Like, I'm not a toy. He can't be playing with me like this. I was going to find out. Guys are just so stupid. They don't think."

"Uh-excuse me," Rocky said, clearly offended.

"Most guys, most guys," I corrected.

"If I'm able to know," he paused. "What's he saying?"

"Well, whoever it is, started by asking me if they could ask me a question."

"Okay," Rocky followed.

"I said "sure," and then they said, "they told me something about you."

"Who's "they?"

"I asked, but they didn't want to tell me who. I still don't know who to this day."

"Wow. Keep going."

"So I asked who and what did "they" say. Then they said, "you know who Marshall is, right? They completely changed the topic on me. But I knew, if I wanted answers, I had to play nice."

"Then what?"

"I said, "yeah, why?" and "the person," said they heard something about us."

"Okay, hold on," Rocky paused. "So, you still don't know who "the person" is?"

"Nope," I honestly spoke. "But, I'm sure it's Marshall. I mean, how isn't it?"

"If this makes it any easier, can I read the messages? And if not, that's fine too. I understand if you prefer the privacy." I froze and thought for a second. He's not wrong. Definitely easier that way. It saves time and when I explain it, I might forget to mention a few things. If he reads it, he knows everything that happened. However, I might have said a few things that shouldn't have been said. I think Rocky shouldn't see them. Although I don't regret saying what I said.

"I think that's better," I agreed. I pulled my phone out of my pocket and unlocked it. I clicked Instagram and went to the chat with Stella. I began to scroll all the way to the top to the first message. I handed my phone to Rocky as he grabbed it and began to read. My heart attack starts...now.
